Salon Rosetta is one of our go-to places when we want to have a drink in a really nice, quiet atmosphere. It feels like being in your own living room surrounded by all those drinks—it's a great experience every time. It's almost always empty, which we love, but it's never empty for long because it's such a nice place that people come and go frequently.

It's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some quiet time before heading back out onto the street after a drink or two. I highly recommend this place; it's beautiful, comfortable, and you'll have a lot of fun there. Plus, the drinks are really good too.

This place is gorgeous but that's about it. Unfortunately the drinks are very expensive, tiny, and taste awful. I actually couldn't even finish my drink because it was like drinking fire. The service was fine but impersonal kind of like the restaurant downstairs. Overall it was very disappointing and not a place I'd bother visiting.

$1500 per person, and they don't open till 11am, we have to wait! Service is rude (feels like a shake-down / police investigation when they talk to you!) I won't come back.

The staff and accommodations are fantastic. The rooftop pool was a bit cloudy. The beach lounge area was well maintained and the servers are on top of things.

Great entertainment and wonderful time with friends . Had a good meal and enjoyed a wonderful show that was very entertaining. It is best to reserve in advance. It is the same club as the one in Cancún.

Drinks were smaller than ever, prices high (and not worth) as if we were in europe, the place is beautiful in immaculate but the worst was the service that completely left us out and discriminated (as being mexicans) in comparison to how the staff served and care and were so attentive to all other foreign customers

The cocktail list here is uniquely amazing. I really dig how they incorporate a flavor map.

The fizz colada is one of the most interesting and best tasting cocktails I've ever had. 🍸

The details, the atmosphere, the passion, the taste, the smell. Zapote Bar is a heck of an experience. It’s sophisticated, but at the same time sexy, relaxed and chill, you won’t want to leave! Now be aware it’s not a cheap night, you’re paying top NY/LA bar prices here, but keep in mind that Zapote is rated as one of the top 50 bars in North America and you’re getting a very unique experience and one of a kind ingredients, so if you’re on board with that, the bar will not disappoint.

We didn’t stay at the resort, but both resort staff and wait staff/bartenders were very accommodating to us visiting. The place had an amazing dark, candle-lit atmosphere. The music (while loud) was very cool, they had a dj that night and they seem to have live music on Fridays/Saturdays I believe, so the overall vibe was awesome.

Drinks: Cocktails were on point. We had the Jaguar (my pick of the night), Colibrí, Boa (my wife’s pick), the warm Irish coffee martini drink (excellent!) and 3 more that at that point forgot to jot down (oops, but we were there for like 3 hours and having a blast!). All very highly rated on our end, and the bartenders know exactly what they’re doing, they are experts and are passionate at their craft. If you sit at the bar (why wouldn’t you), the bartenders will explain to you anything and everything about your drink. Some are based off mystical Mayan legends and stories (i.e. The Colibrí) and others are twists of one or two classic cocktails that, when combined, just suit each other. Genius.

Food wise: the Pollo dish is more than excellent and probably the best chicken dish we’ve had (dare I say ever) so if in doubt just get that, it’s also a large shareable dish. Like the entire menu it’s a Mediterranean inspired style dish and just the right amount of heat. The sauces were excellent and chicken was cooked to perfection over fire. Nothing like it. I’m literally salivating typing this. The Ribeye was very nice, good seasoning, and cooked perfectly to a medium rare. All the appetizers and dips we had were excellent and you’ll love it if you fancy Mediterranean. We also overheard the lamb chops to be really great.

There is also a Blue Room for special guests that boasts a laboratory number of Mezcals, Tequilas and bitters. Very cool cozy speakeasy type hang out. But we’ll keep it on the DL (sshhhhh 🤫).

Overall, Zapote is worth all the hype and absolutely worth it due to the quality of drinks and food, top notch service, passionate and knowledgeable staff and the atmosphere.

Shout out to @DriftersJoint on IG for the recommendation and Salvador at the bar for treating us like we were regulars, even tho we’re from L.A. and first time guests. We will definitely be back and we’re already booking our next trip here. ¡Muchísimas gracias!

Great vibe. Felt similar to a Nikki Beach (that’s a compliment). Service, people, atmosphere and beach access was stellar. Would highly recommend. Prices were very reasonable for this environment. Shout out to their staff member Santiago for being a great time!

They use such garbage alcohol it made me sick after 1/3 of a drink. Would have like to see the show but I was too sick from the horrible drink. I’d suggest not drinking booze there.

Need to reserve ahead. Great, candle-lit ambience but more bar-like than a restaurant. Crowded and noisy - difficult to hear the waitress explaining the menu. Interesting cuisine. We were told these is authentic Mexican provincial food. Portions were small. It’s restaurant that specializes in vegetarian and seafood, which was perfect for our diet. We had various tacos & tamales, a cornmeal dish, a cheese dish, a tamale dish with greens and raw fish (not recommended), and sweet plantain with crushed nuts atop. A bit pricey.

Food was fantastic! Allot of Americans were there when we went. Wait staff is very knowledgeable about the dishes. If you are concerned about ordering, just ask for there suggestions, they won't disappoint.

While the club may be a bit outdated and could benefit from a renovation, the talented individuals who work there put on an amazing series of different entertaining shows. It's worth mentioning that the prices can be a bit high, especially if you opt for the VIP experience priced at $150, which supposedly offers better drinks and seating. However, I found that the drinks were more on the lower quality side. Additionally, make sure to tip your waiter right away otherwise he won't be visiting you too often as it is an open bar. Although they provide some snacks, they are not particularly satisfying. The regular tickets are priced at $100, which grants you access to the floor where you'll be surrounded by a lively crowd. Alternatively, there are $200 tickets available for front-row seating and $150 tickets for balcony seating. The overall entertainment value is quite enjoyable, and I would recommend checking it out.

We had the most amazing stay! The property was perfect, the staff were amazing!!! We travelled from 🇨🇦 looking for a small low key luxury hotel and found exactly what we needed!! Stop looking and book!!

I only had drinks. Place is in top 50 bars in Latin America. Looks very good, nothing to complain: staff is perfectly trained, drinks are correctly made and good. Place itself is luxurious, but I won’t give it a 5* just because I didn’t feel that authenticity. I had divine cocktails at a local fish restaurant in Playa at 1/4 of the price in Zapote :)

I purchased the day pass and I had an amazing time! It was 3 people, we had more than enough money in credits for food and drinks. The view was gorgeous, the staff was very attentive to us. Our waiter Juan was frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we wanted. He was an excellent waiter. Her even taught us a little bit of Mayan which was an awesome experience. This place is totally worth the money and the view is phenomenal. Worth the 5 stars!
