Clean and efficient airport. It seems small but it isn’t . Amazing features like Emergency phone by the toilet , noticeboard on compensations in regard to delayed flights for hours and finally the recycling box :where to pull out the water and put in the whole bottle to be recycled.

Efficient and fast checks! And I appreciated the bus transfer to your plane;it was clean and well driven!

Reasonable prices in restaurants and bars:more-all-less like prices you will find outside of the airport and good qualities too!

Airport is in a good location and you have bus stop not far from it.

Airport in itself will be 5stars but the delay of airlines:both our landing and departing were all delayed and the document check staff service could be improved!

Cozy restaurant and Friendly staff. Service was fast too.
We enjoyed what we ate and drink and free bread kept coming!

1st airport for me where you have museums and students art display upstairs and art&culture downstairs and entrance to any of them are free.

FYI - If you will be needing cash, withdraw money before entering Athens international airport because if you have to withdraw money inside this airport,you will be charged more.

In case you rent a car ,know that most of the car rental offices are not inside the airport. Call the car rental office and ask where you can wait for them to pick you up and take you to their office because they often have bus shuttle from the entrance of the airport or the airport car park to their office.

Document control was fast. Once outside the airport,you have a short part that takes you to where you can take the metro or better still ,right outside the airport you have a bus that takes you to the center of Athens and it cost 5,50€. You are expected to buy the ticket before entering the bus. And the ticket office is not far from where the bus-stop is.

Walk around a bit and you will find areas to buy affordable meals!

The only place where you can buy bottle water(750ml for 0,90€) at a reasonable price in the airport .
Food wasn’t bad but costly- the beef stew(14€) and the beer(6,80€) were costly because you can find something cheaper still in that airport!
Staff were friendly.

1st airport for me where there’s only 1 destination and 1 airplane for the day. It was nice.

Super clean airport including the toilets . You can find a direct bus from the train station of Skavsta to the airport versa versa. Or even direct bus from the airport to Stockholm city .

Staff were very friendly. And document control was really fast that we departed 20mins before time which is really nice.

It was an interesting airport experience for us!
