after the disappointment of finding out our flight to poland was leaving from this airport (which is like 100km from stockholm) we booked a flixbus late at night to get there. the bus dropped us in the middle of nowhere around midnight and we started walking towards the small deserted airport. once we reached the entrance we quickly realized that it was closed. another polish girl approached us looking also for the entrance. we came to the conclusion that the airport closes at night, from midnight until 4 am to be precise. despite being summer, it started feeling cold and unsafe. we wondered around for a bit until luckily the lady at the bar of the hotel let us stay in the hotel lobby for the night. at 4 am we went to the entrance of the airport and we still had to wait like 20 minutes for it to finally open. inside the airport was actually nice, clean bathrooms and places to charge your phone.
despite this, the airport doesn’t deserve more than one star:
1) its name is deceiving people. why is it called “stockholm” despite being 100 km from the city in a remote area in the middle of nowhere.
2) the airport shouldn’t close. i payed my flight something like 20€ and then i am forced to either freeze to death or pay a hotel room which will probably be more expensive than the flight…the airport should stay open at night!
3) is it really necessary to open an airport just to have two flights per day…can’t these two flights just leave from arlanda?

Be careful, airport doesn't work at night! You can go there by first morning bus. A great thing - stuff were friendly and nice

Аеропорт Скавста-це повний шок! Міжнародний аеропорт і закритий з 23 до 5. Мала рейс у 8.30. Добратися зі Стокгольму в аеропорт на цю годину немає чим. Перший фліксбус зі Стокгольму о 8.30. Тож я з двома дітьми була змушена приїхати в аеропорт ввечері. Виїхала останнім автобусом і о 1.00 була в аеропорту. Дощ,холод,аеропорт закритий. Діти в тонкому вбранні. Як можна чекати вночі під відкритим небом від 1 до 5,поки відкриється аеропорт? Міжнародний аеропорт,а люди змушені чекати свого рейсу сидячи на холодній підлозі на паркінгу,що знаходиться поруч. І це в 21 сторіччі в Європі в країні,яка як вважається має високий рівень життя. Я такого в жодному випадку не могла сподіватися. Керівництво аеропорту повинно зайнятися цим питанням(принаймні поставити якісь крісла хоча ж би на тому самому паркінгу).
Всі гарні враження від Стокгольму,його краси і величі вмить стерлися,коли приїхала в аеропорт. Шкода,що шведи не дбають про
людей,які до них приїжджають як туристи.

Small airport, closes before midnight and opens at 0500hrs. If you are going to Nyköping or Stockholm Central Station Flixbus or Flygburssana are two good options. The bathrooms are clean. There are functional ATM machines close to the exits. Please note the security checks can take some time. Feel free to try some fresh snacks or hot coffee whilst waiting.

Great little airport. Didnt have any queue for security. Only thing is how far away from stockholm it is.

Lotnisko małe, obskurne i stare. Słabo oświetlone przystanki autobusowe, bez ochrony od wiatru. Dodatkowo jeśli ktoś planuje lot w godzinach nocnych lub wczesno porannych (a autobusy ze Sztokholmu w takich godzinach kursują) nie ma możliwości przeczekania w cywilizowanych warunkach, ponieważ mimo zimna i złej pogody zostaniecie wyproszeni. Lotnisko jest zamykane na noc. Zakładam że po to, żeby skorzystać z hotelu nieopodal. W przeciwnym razie nocleg na obskurnym i zimnym parkingu. Dostęp do obleśnej ale jednak łazienki to jedyny plus. Ogólnie porażka, polecam za wszelką cenę wybrać inne lotnisko :)

Kleine airport. Konden snel door en een fijn hotel erbij

This is the most dilapidated airport I have ever seen in EU, e.g. toilets must be renovated. There are a few seets at the gates. Storage boxes at the security are too small to a winter jacket. As I see, it is too far from Stockholm so transfer costs 200 SEK. I had to wait 13 hours at this airport due to technical difficulties but I did not want to leave it because Nyköping (nearest city) do not have too much sights.

Controle op liquide door een uitgemolken citroen met bril. Liquide had ik mooi in een plastiek zakje gestoken. En de teef vroeg of ik voeding bij had, jazeker 1 potje mosterd . Dat kon ze niet goed verdragen dus moest ik het afgeven of opeten van het onnozel wicht. 2 jaar geleden met 2 potjes mosterd via Bromma airport, Geen probleem toen .
