Amazing place with spectacular nature. I really enjoy the food and professional crew. I asked them to prepare birthday day surprise and everything was made as I wished. Ate Migallen is amazing host with huge international background and experience. It has been enjoyable staying, I recommend everyone who is into nature and comfort 🇵🇭🫶
The Animals are NOT KEPT in a Humane way.
For the the PRICE of Admission they charge , they should be able to staff the exhibits and keep a good health for ALL THE Animals

Great place to walk, have a picnic while kids play. They have newly installed playgrounds that the kids will surely love!
We loved the area as a whole .Nice view wherever you looked . Nicer weather and purer air . A day tour is a must.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Malagos Garden Resort, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The resort is a beautiful oasis, brimming with lush greenery and vibrant flowers, creating a serene and picturesque environment. The butterfly sanctuary was a particular highlight, offering a magical experience as these delicate creatures fluttered all around. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The resort also boasts a variety of activities that cater to all ages and interests. The chocolate museum was an absolute delight, providing fascinating insights into the chocolate-making process and offering delicious samples. The farm-to-table dining experience was equally remarkable, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that made every meal a culinary delight. Overall, Malagos Garden Resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal getaway for families, couples, and solo travellers alike

Amazing place to relax and prepare fresh coffee and safe riding my folding bike...👍🥰
I recently visited People’s Park in the Sky in Tagaytay, and it was an unforgettable experience! Despite the foggy weather, which obscured much of the famed panoramic views, the park still offered a unique charm and atmosphere.
Even with the limited visibility, the park's elevated location provided a cool and refreshing climate, a welcome escape from the heat of the lowlands. The misty surroundings added a mystical touch to the landscape, making the visit feel like a journey through the clouds.I explored the unfinished mansion at the park's center, which adds a layer of historical intrigue to the visit. The structure, originally intended to be a presidential mansion, now serves as a reminder of the Philippines' rich history and the stories of its past.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the tranquil ambiance and the sense of being above it all. The park’s gardens, amphitheater, and chapel offered peaceful spots to relax and reflect. Even though the views of Taal Lake and the surrounding provinces were hidden by the fog, the serene environment made the trip worthwhile.
I went as part of a tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable and convenient. The winding road up to the park was an adventure in itself, adding to the overall excitement.Despite the weather, I highly recommend a visit to People’s Park in the Sky. Its unique blend of history, natural beauty, and cool climate makes it a must-visit destination in Tagaytay. Whether you catch a clear day or a foggy one, the park has a special charm that is sure to leave a lasting impression. Loved it!

Our Philippine monkey-eating eagle, the largest of its kind. She is fearless, sharp, and majestic!
400 for an entrance fee is ridiculous. You will only find out when u enter their vicinity. Even with food and drinks to go with the entrance fee is not reasonable.
Vehicles are not allowed to move around the park. You need to buy ticket for the tram which cost a whopping 330 pesos for an hour.
We are nine guests and we already agreed to get tickets even if the price is ridiculous. Admin insisted that we need to purchase 10 so that we can already availa a tram else we need to wait for more than an hour. The wont give u some consideration. They would just tell u its the policy.
Only children below 3 are free. More than 3 you pay adult price. No discounts for child 3 above and 7 below.
The old play area which are free are now being charged.
Prices are ridiculous and not friendly for locals given its a local nature park.
You need around 2000 pesos or more per person if u want to fit the requirements.
We dont recommend going to this place and its a one time never visit again place.

Nice place.
Great ideas: chocolate museum tour, bird feeding, butterfly sanctuary, guided birdwatching, cottage hot tub.
Staff courteousness and service were great.
Extended assistance was a pleasant surprise, especially regarding transportation out of the resort.
Most facilities could be better maintained.
Museum tour felt hurried and stiff, cursory; could improve with more depth and more casual delivery.
Bird feeding was very nice.
Butterfly sanctuary felt empty: saw just a couple of species.
Guided birdwatching was ok. Guide was apologetic about light/weather condition not allowing for better sighting, though obviously not his fault. Activity felt hurried, like the museum tour; as if they were under time pressure. Maybe they were. Though done politely, it felt like the guide was suggesting that we were tired and it was time for breakfast.
Service was great:
Housekeeping promptly showing up with requests.
Front office staff helping find transportation when leaving the hotel. They ended up taking us to the taxi "terminal" in the resort shuttle.

Nothing much to see here. Parking is hard during weekends. It has nice viewing decks but nothing too spectacular. You’ll see the same view (nicer even) at another place. The amenities and structures are deteriorating already and public spaces are not well maintained.
This place is a must visit when in Davao. A good place for families. The rooms are old but well maintained. They have a pool for kids. Playground is huge but needs maintenance. The farm needs a lot of work. But the aviary is really entertaining with all the birds and parrots you can pet. The chocolate museum is a good place to hang out when its hot outside. The staff is very accomodating as well.
Few selections on their buffet lunch. Btw, the ice cream is not included in the buffet. The guided shuttle tour though was worth it. Like the energetic tourist guide.
There were a variety of animals seen throughout the shuttle tour.

A little far if coming from Poblacion but it is worth it. We went there riding a taxi and availed the buffet lunch. Everything was yummy and fresh. Then we went on a guided tour. The tour guide was the best part! She took all our photos and even guided us on how to pose. We also tried the skycycle, skywheel and zipline. Affordable and very tiring. We really enjoyed our visit!
The place is good to visit and know more about one of the air bases for Filipinos and Americans during the World War 2. The ground is also good for family picnics as there is also a playground for kids. Aside from fighter jets in the area and playground, there is not much to do and only 1 cafe is located in the area. It’s best to bring food and water with you if you want to stay for longer hours. :)
For 1st timer, recommended for day tour only. However, I may not go back here unless necessary. The facilities are not well maintained and rusty. The management does not evolve and cannot adapt to the ever-changing needs of customers. It is not flexible since the place does not accept pets (dogs) for God's sake it is a nature park. They should accept pets(dogs) but should make some guidelines.
Nice Park along Diversion Road only
Perfect for a picnic.
Park is for public no charge at all.
Lots of trees.. So relaxing..

Nice place to cool down during this hot weather
I loved this park. Vast well-kept grounds filled with beautiful plants. There are different activities to keep one occupied although just roaming around and admiring the park itself would be a delight to nature lovers.
We went to Eden Nature Park for a stroll. This park is an hour drive from city proper given that your car or motorcycle is good with steep roads.
Day tour with plated snacks is 350/head. Staffs are really accommodating. We were so tired trying to tour the place by feet since riding one of there tour jeep/van would cost you 250 or 300 pesos per head.
As a Davaoeña it is at least good to visit this once and be close to nature. Also weather is cool. It's fun watching the deer 🥹
Didn't get to experience their room or the fish pond or the rides. Rides is on the other side of the road so when you get there and wanted to do the adventure rides I suggest going there first before touring the park. The 350 day pass includes the entrance on the adventure park. We were just too tired to go there.
Food is SoSo ☺️ LOTS OF WALKING

Here I practised driving 😃. Tried before the Croc ice cream. It was not bad, but I will not try again. Animals are somehow taken care of, hope so.During weekends, good place for jogging and running.

Sooo nice to spend a picnic here people are nice.. no limits as long as you are doing the right thing here
Disappointed. Nice little area; but is it or isn't it a bus stop. There is no way to tell in this unfriendly to tourists county. Bus stops are NOT marked. Brilliant.
Came to the park, did not stay at the resort, so no comment on that. The park was great, and the guided tour was worth it. Staff were there to provide much info and help with photography. Lots of places for shots. Got to see a local tribe dance for us, which was interesting. The coolest thing was the albino peafowl/peacock. The buffet was nice, included fresh produce they farm on their property. There was even a place where you could fish for lunch. It rained frequently since we're in the mountains, so we missed out on all the more adventurous stuff like the zip line, skywheel, sky bike, etc. There are a bunch of rooms/cabins on premises. Would be great for family outings. Great experience, would visit again.
The place is classic Davao mountain resort that has been a part of Davao since timr immemorial. The food is great. The place is good for picture taking and nature trips for family and friends.
But the rooms are a bit old. There are bats in the comfort room near the garden hall.

Had a bad encounter with the staff. We're minding our own business, not even bothering the other guests when we were called out.
Road trip to Tagaytay People's Park in the sky!
It's worth the time and effort. We drove from Las Pinas city to Tagaytay just to see the view here. Truly, nature has its way to calm the soul ♥️ I definitely recommend coming here if you wanna see Tagaytay and its entirety. (Also you may want to bring packed lunch if you dont have much fund for food)
Kudos: but if you have budget set aside for foodie, there are restaurants at the entrance where you can buy lunch and snacks.
P.S.
No need to go anywhere else to find Bulalo (if you're craving for it) the resto near the entrance offers variety of dishes and is cheaper than other resto 3km before the park. Plus the view is amazing there.
(I'm saying this because I went to other restaurant 3km from the area, not gonna name it though. They are way more expensive (and they charge service fee!) but the beef is like rubber, and it's so matabang. My Bicolana friend's bulalo is way way way better.)

People's Park in Tagaytay offers a scenic escape with breathtaking views of Taal Volcano and the surrounding landscapes. The park's colorful gardens, towering statues, and vibrant atmosphere make it a great spot for leisurely strolls and picnics. However, it can get crowded during peak hours, so visiting during weekdays or early mornings is recommended for a more peaceful experience. Overall, it's a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking stunning panoramic vistas.
Fun spot to spend some time and check out an excellent show where we learn a little about the local wildlife. Parking is spacious. Food options are adequate. Not sure I’ve ever seen anywhere else offer crocodile lechon(it’s a way to raise funds for rehabilitation and relocation). Price was affordable for the time we spent on this outing.
Very wide, cozy place,.fresh air, suitable for CONCERTS ,
This picture taken last August 12, 2023. This was a Zero8Two concert in celebration of 38th Kadayawan in Davao City. The bands that are present here are Kamikazee, Parokya ni Edgar, Jayson in Town, Missing Filemon, Tatot Music and December Avenue. DJ Sam and Korde are also present during the celebration.
While People's Park in the Sky offers breathtaking views, my preference for more interactive experiences made it less appealing. The limited activities, coupled with the crowd and potential seat restrictions, posed a slight inconvenience. I'd recommend it as a quick visit for capturing picturesque moments, but for those seeking more engaging attractions, it might not be the ideal destination. The scenic beauty, however, makes it a worthwhile spot for a brief stop and photo opportunities.
•Scenic Views: People's Park in the Sky provides stunning panoramic views.
•Limited Activities: The lack of interactive activities might not appeal to those seeking more engagement.

•Quick Visit Suggestion: Recommend it as a brief stop for capturing picturesque moments or taking photos.

The Philippines Eagle Monument is a true testament to the country's commitment to conservation and preserving its unique biodiversity. The monument stands tall and proud, symbolizing the strength and resilience of the Philippine Eagle. It serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting these endangered birds and their natural habitat. The monument's location is perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a serene setting for reflection and contemplation. If you're passionate about wildlife conservation or simply appreciate stunning artistry, this monument is a must-see."
Very nice view and many indegenous people will talk to you to buy their stuff. It only cost 20 pesos each. And along the road people sell their foods and plants that only grow in cold weather. Highly recommended for picture talking and also if you want to buy some keychain like souvenirs they also sell there. I would definitely comeback here. It's a very best place to unwind and to ease your pent up stress.
This is a must go place when going to davao.
Their crocodile show is awesome.
Its interactive.
I met Pangil, one of the biggest crocodiles in the Philippines.
Also tried the crocodile burger... it tastes ok. It's just a regular burger.
They also have souvenir shops.

We went here on November 5, 2023. It was a beautiful and sunny day.
There are plenty of views of distant cities and vistas all around. It is a great place to hike. It is about 2 bends with a substantial incline. It might be a mix of heat and cold throughout the incline, so dress accordingly! I suggest a light jacket you can easily zip up or take off.
There are a couple of Jeepneys at both the top and bottom who will transport you and your group if you feel like you are too tired to go up or down the road.
They do have a bathroom near the top, but it is pay per use, so be aware of that.
There are also spots near the top that are also paid, meaning if you wanted to sit down in one of the labeled booths, you must pay to relax or to sit and enjoy the view from that spot.
A couple of souvenir shops are near the top with negotiable prices. If you want to eat at a couple of shops and little restaurants, there's plenty before you enter the park near the bottom.
Overall, it is beautiful, and it is definitely worth the visit whether you're here as a tourist (like myself) to go sightseeing or to go on a short hike with a very rewarding view!

a must visit place when you are touring davao city.
Here, you'll find the biggest crocodile in captivity.
You can interact with some of the animals like rabbits, goats and ostriches.
there's also a pasalubong center outside.
you can hail a cab that are parked and waiting for passengers ina street nearby.

Expensive! It’s also not-well maintained. A lot of areas need to be developed. Given the Entrance fee, I was expecting the place to be good. Would have been better if there were tour guides providing info about the place, the animals, etc. The place is not PWD friendly as well. The whole area is not accessible by wheelchair and not easy to walk by for those who have difficulty walking.
