Nice and quiet city

Рим , огромный мегаполис , шикарный вокзал и нет ни одной камеры хранения багажа !!! Ни одной НИКАКОЙ, даже автоматических ящиков нет . Ближайшая "камера хранения" на автовокзале в киоске у продавца-индуса. Большое ему спасибо за услугу !!

Zentraler Bahnhof mitten in Rom,Ausgangspunkt für Citytrip sehr gut kommt man von hier mit Bus und U-Bahn, Straßenbahn in der Stadt weiter!

Good station

A normal metro station on the L2 line with nothing much to expect other than a 10-minute service to the centre and outskirts. Regional trains also operate this station going to the west, south, and north as well as the main train station. There are escalators here.
Note: When you leave the station there's going to be a park but the whole place is very dirty and neglected, avoid it as there could be pick-pocketers.

Very convenient location with a short walk to the center of the city, which was ideal for us because we had taken the train from Rome for the day.

Have used SMN a handful of times over the past couple of decades while travelling around Italy. It has always been fine for us. Plenty of departures and arrivals to other major cities in the country. Convenient location, short walking distance to hotels around the Historic Centre of Florence. There are self-use ticket machines, manned booths, a fair number of places to grab a coffee or snack if you are awaiting departure. Overall, just fine.

I found it pretty chaotic. I was hoping to find something more organized, such as UK train stations, but it wasn’t at all.

Staff was really nice, though. They all speak English pretty well, so they were able to help me and answer all my questions.

I’m not a big fan of crowds or chaotic situations, so taking the train there was definitely overwhelming.

Also, although I had booked a specific seat in Trenitalia, my seat was taken and the people there said that the assistant had told them that there were no assigned seats. Again, chaos and disorganization.

In the train, there was no space to store my luggage and there was no one to tell me what to do. There was only an Italian guy, who only spoke / shouted in Italian, saying that I should manage and try to squeeze my bag.

Es ist etwas verwirrend den Standort zu finden wo man Tickets für den ÖPNV kaufen kann. Noch dazu wird einem das Gleis für den Zug erst 15 Minuten vor Abfahrt angezeigt. Das ist blöd, da man sich so zum Zug beeilen muss.

Incontournable. Plongeon dans l'histoire très très ancienne.

La nuova Stazione Tiburtina di Roma è stata inaugurata nel 2011 ed è dedicata a Cavour. Una stele riporta il discorso datato 1861 del grande statista su Roma Capitale d'Italia e su come questa scelta non sia frutto di calcoli geografici e nemmeno di un epicentro di impulsi, ma di una convergenza che si fa anche identificazione culturale. Tutte le strade di impulsi, moti e idee, da Nord a Sud convergono verso Roma. Cavour fu inoltre il primo a essere artefice del sistema ferroviario, e non solo in Italia, quando piuttosto erano in tanti che consideravano bizzarra questa concezione, anche se non la osteggiavano. Se non ci fossero i treni oggi questi individui sarebbero i 'No ferrovie'.
La stazione è stata progettata dallo studio di Paolo Desideri ed è destinata sempre più a essere il punto di riferimento dell'Alta Velocità, oltre che di alcune linee regionali, come la FL2 e la FL3, molto importanti. E' una 'stazione ponte' che collega i due volti del quadrante tiburtino, uno adiacente alla via Tiburtina, l'altro proteso verso piazza Bologna e il Nomentano.
La stazione ha il piano terra e due piani sopraelevati.
Sono presenti aree shopping, ristorazione, bar e biglietterie di FS e Italo.
Da un punto di vista stilistico la stazione all'ultimo piano ha dei moduli sospesi in aria dalle volumetrie eleganti e avanguardiste.
I negozi subito sotto di essi hanno alterato la concezione iniziale, ma sono necessari, in quanto la Stazione Tiburtina è area di interscambio ferroviario che necessita di servizi e dov'è opportuno usufruire di esercizi commerciali. C'è anche una bella libreria Giunti.
La principale uscita esterna, che permette anche l'accesso alla stazione degli autobus nazionali e internazionali 'Tibus', oggi è stata ripensata con un nuovo e grande piazzale a cui è perpendicolare un viale largo e lungo. Accanto ci sono anche alcuni capolinea dell'Atac.
La Stazione FS Tiburtina coincide anche con l'omonima stazione Metro B, molto trafficata.

Schöner Bahnhof, auch wenn es schnell mal hektisch werden kann im Großstadttrubel. Sobald man durch die „Ticketkontrolle“ durch ist und sich zu seinem Gleis begibt wird es wieder ruhiger. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und es ist alles gut beschildert.

È la stazione dei treni che più preferisco a Roma, la trovo organizzata in modo migliore rispetto alla Stazione Termini.

È possibile mangiare al suo interno (consiglio vivamente Alice Pizza), così come è possibile fare delle compere.

C'è anche una farmacia al suo posto interno.

I bagni sono puliti ma a pagamento (euro 1).

Da questa stazione è possibile prendere la metropolitana, i treni regionali e quelli ad alta velocità

Superbe monument de l'extérieur et de l'intérieur!
Le billet est cher, certes, mais il donne aussi accès au forum romain et au palatin qui se trouvent juste à côté.
Longue attente, mieux vaut donc acheter le billet à l'entrée des deux autres monuments.
