I enjoyed it, despite the crowd, as it was literally full of people. The nicest place is the stairs, where people like to seat and watch the crowd moving behind just as if it were one single thing.

I was having a sandwich at the stairs, but suddenly the police started ordering people to leave the place. I image that it was because the stairs are also a way to the street in the back.

However, a sign saying “Please don’t seat on the stairs” would have been very useful (and less annoying, as most of us were just tourists).

I’m not a religious person, but I loved going there. I must confess that I entered the temple because it was freezing outside and my mobile phone had turned off. So I said: ‘why not?’

They were offering a mass / service, and I decided to sit down and try to follow what the priest was saying. I don’t speak French, but I managed to sing as they were showing the lyrics on a big screen.

So I must say that it’s a nice and friendly place that’s definitely worth visiting.

I went to see Avengers: Endgame there, and the place was not comfortable at all. I tried to choose the most comfortable seat according to what was presented on the screen, but it turned out that I was too high and had to look down to watch the movie. Besides, it’s a medium-class cinema. Not very clean. People are not very friendly. And snacks are expensive but not cool at all.

It’s not one of the best theaters in Buenos Aires, and the seats are not comfortable. Nevertheless, they usually present interesting shows with not-too-expensive tickets, and it’s worth giving it a try.

I was lucky enough to have a guide who told me interesting facts about the church. Otherwise, it would have been another big Italian church.

This is supposed to be the biggest church in the world dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The story behind it is pretty weak: two different men dreamt of the Virgin Mary telling them that they should build her a church. And, apparently, the place was identified because somehow it started to snow right there. Believe it or not.

The gold from the ceiling was the first of the innumerable tons of gold Europe stole from Latin America.

I found it interesting the way some people are true believers. You can see them doing all kinds of stuff. I’m not judging. I just admire their faith.
