I’ve been coming to this lovely family owned Persian restaurant for over 10 years now. The consistency and quality of the dishes never fail. I always take the boneless chicken with saffron rice and that one dish is usually quite enough anyway. Add some houmous and bread and you will be truly full. Their bread made in the clay oven is super traditional and delicious. Paid 32£ with service charge.
Staff were friendly and professional. However, refusing to give tap water was a low blow. I didn’t want to make a scene but a reminder it’s the law to give someone tap water if they ask for some.
I cannot compare this restaurant to other Persian restaurants in the neighborhood but I know this one is good enough for me not to try other ones out.

Found this spot by chance, googling close to our accommodation.
Now I rated the food at 4, but really was 4.5 stars. This was because of one dish, basically I got chicken and salad, see photo. Now this is probably because of a traditional style of dish. It needed something more to me.
The other fish had wonderful favours.
For entree we had humus and bread, with the bread being freshly made and cooked at the entrance. All we can say for the hummus and bread is yummmm.
They have run this business for thirty years and their passion shows through.
From the first warm welcome to the last goodbye they made us feel really welcome. Great advice on what to eat.

I love everything in Mohsen I've known it since 20 years ago and we always come back and they have the friendliest staff and the tastiest Persian food.

Ein der besten iranischen Restaurants, die besten und originellsten persischen Gerichte, sehr schnell und ausgesprochen freundlich. Nicht groß, aber sehr familiär Atomsphäre, ein Stern im Kendington‘s Himmel. Dieses Restaurant verdient mehr als 10 Sterne.

This restaurant was my worst dining experience in London. Old and rotten vegetables in a nylon bag and a very bad soup and poor quality meat and burnt kebabs. Very poor quality. 🤮
I am sure that the quality of one-cow feed in livestock is of better quality.🤮

این رستوران بدترین تجربه غذاخوری من در لندن بود. سبزی کهنه و گندیده داخل کیسه نایلونی و سوپ خیلی بد و گوشت بی کیفیت و کباب سوخته. بسیار بی کیفیت.
من مطمئن هستم که کیفیت خوراک یک گاو در دام از کیفیت بهتری برخوردار است.
کاش می توانستم کمتر از یک ستاره بدهم
