I have attended the two most recent performances of the Cathedral Choral Society and they were beautifully sung. The music selection for both concerts was really well thought out and were inspired choices. And of course, the majestic setting of the National Cathedral further enhanced the experience. I am looking forward to their future performances.
What a glorious experience it is attending a Cathedral Choral Society performance. I have attended two, each one well programed and presented. And each one different.
The concert was absolutely transcendent. There is nothing like this kind of music being experienced in a cathedral. Calm washes over you and your ears feel the beauty. A 10 out of 10 and I will be coming back for future concerts!
Cathedral Choral Society is a fantastic local ensemble with a high standard of singing and musicianship. As a professional choral musician myself, I appreciate the care and precision given to every piece they do.
What an incredibly lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon: talented and dedicated musicians and an epic space in which to take advantage of their gifts. This gang has been five stars for 83 years and counting!
