Totally brilliant day, there was 4 adults and 2 kids.
We spent the whole day at the zoo from 1pm until 8.30pm.
There is so much to do when you get in and all at no extra cost.
We paid £115.00 and for a full day with kids that's great value.
I can't recommend this place highly enough.

There are a lot of species to be discovered, very interesting for the kids. We were lucky enough to be there in time for the Dolphins show it really is a wonderful experience for kids and adults.

There is plenty of shade, lots of places to buy drinks and ice creams, lots of fountains with drinkable water as well. The picnic area is big and offers a choice between long tables for big groups or small table with some privacy for families of small groups. Buying the tickets online is cheaper than at the ticket office, but if you have a voucher or another type of discount you can only buy the tickets at regular prices at the zoo. The dolphin show is worth it, but not very elaborate. The cable car is not that interesting, most of the path is over buildings and the outside of the zoo. The final part descending to the end is the best, it's when you see most animals. But since it is included in the ticket it is worth the ride, more than once if you have the chance. Try to look for leopards on the way up and red pandas on the way down.

I’ve wanted to go here since I moved to Lisboa two years ago and finally went. It’s a great facility and the majority of the animals were active, which made the experience great. Admission is very expensive for Portugal, but I understand care of the animals and maintenance of the facility must also cost a lot. Highly recommend a visit.

Large zoo with a lot of greens. Animals have space and seem content. Enjoyed the ride round the zoo in cable cars. Also, dolphin show was nice.

Super nice zoo. The paths are easy to navigate and the animals are clearly divided in different ”zones”.
Reptile house was absolutely a favourite and the giraffes were beautiful.
Would totally recommend, since there’s a wide variety of animals, they seem healthy and the place felt to be worth the money.

Beautifully thought out zoo with enclosures that bring you as close to the animals as you’d like to be. There are many areas to sit and take in the animals as well with a mix of shaded and exposed areas.

Make sure to catch the bird show and the dolphin show. If you think that you can only see one of the shows, then go to the dolphin show (but the bird show is wonderful too).

Visiting Lisbon Zoo was a delightful experience. The underground parking was convenient, making it easy to access even on busy summer days. The abundance of tree-shaded areas offered a pleasant retreat during my April visit. I highly recommend catching the amazing dolphin show near the entrance. The chimpanzees were captivating, and the Savanna animals, including the Big Five, were in excellent condition. The snakes section was also impressive.

Before and after the ticket gate, there are cafes, fast food restaurants, and WC facilities for convenience. Be prepared for a walk of around 11,000 steps if you're up for exploring everything the zoo has to offer. Remember to stay hydrated and enjoy your visit, but please refrain from feeding or disturbing the animals.
