رستوران تیماری

I was afraid it’s gonna one of those touristy places but no.
Service is good, not sure how they deal with when is crowded tho, prices are lower than at the tavernas in the north of the island.
We had gyros, souvlaki, the meatballs, some tzatziki and a salad. Tasty and nicely presented

Killer food, arrive early as there is a very big line. The staff don’t really address you until you are at the front of the line. I wish the English menu used the Greek names for their foods but you can probably make out what is what. The tzatziki alone was worth the money, best tzatziki I’ve ever had hands down. The meat dish was also very good, fried anchovies were alright and same with the potatoes, I’d recommend something else, salad was very good! Beautiful outdoor dining space under the trees. Just lacking a bit of Greek music to complete the scene. Worth going for sure

Nice lovely restaurant, good and fast service, tasty food. We had a mixed plate for 3 people of pretty much everything meaty on it plus side dishes, everything was fresh and very good. Highly recommend. We couldn't finish it all because it was so much, if there's no man at the table, it definitely would be enough for 4 people as well.

Located on a slightly more quiet part of Corfu's streets, Thymari gives a very serene first impression. The menu is a mix of twists on Greek and Italian dishes. We start out with the taramosalata with cuttlefish ink. It's very smooth and a great opener for the next course. The steamed mussels have a tumeric-citrus broth that blows us both away. It's slightly messy eating so everything turns yellow after a while but the mussels are incredibly fresh and very delicious. As a main course, we pick the seafood moussaka and the prawn spaghetti. I'm not blown away by the spaghetti, nor is my partner. It's certainly not bad, just seems like it could have been more than tomato, slightly overcooked spaghetti and prawns. The seafood moussaka is very good though, the chewy bits of cuttlefish are very enjoyable, and the different elements come out nicely. Overall, we had a good time at Thymari, with friendly, attentive staff and a fair price considering the amount of food we ordered. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to people I know.

The cuisine is not typical Greek taste, the money for value is not that good. The smoke is very intense from the kitchen. Staff is friendly and try to be helpful during the dinner time.

Also, there was a mistake of charging extra 5 Euros for our drinks but staff was help to correct after our complainants.
