I had dinner at Kiva on my last night in Istanbul and it was such a great experience. The view and the food are so amazing, the decor is also so nice. I specially would like to thanks Hasret because she made my night unforgettable. She was so nice in managing to get me a table on the first floor when I was just loosing hope because it was rather late. I owe her my special night and can't thank her enough. In the end of our dinner she offered us fruit and turkish coffee making this night even more unforgettable. Because of her I definitely recommend this place. A good restaurant is not only food. People play a great part too. A thousand thanks to Hasret from Portugal!
Kiva, n elegant restaurant serving Turkish cuisine with some twist. I found the mezzas to be better than the main course which was still not bad. Worth a further visit. Service was good. What I noticed was that they add a 150 TR cover charge per person to your tab. Plus they add a 10% service charge. So basically, they are double dipping on the service charge. However, tea and coffee are complimentary.
They're charging for everything, still water, olives and bread they bring that you don't even ask for. They give you a small glass of water and charge for a full bottle. On top of that they charge 10% service fee that you don't see mentioned anywhere! And when you're annoyed by their hidden charges and don't want to pay the service charge on top of that, they say it's not optional, they say call police. Restaurants that cost a bit more are fine with me, but what I hate is restaurants that try to seem less expensive and then just adding unreasonable charges. If you're annoyed by unreasonable hidden charges, avoid this place, otherwise you'll just get your experience ruined, which is totally unnecessary on your holiday or day off.
Delicious food comes with breathtaking taking views, what a great place to enjoy late lunch!
We just came here today with my family. Their menu for lunch is not much. The beef tenderloin was very dry and bland. The price is not worthit. The vibe of the guy who was serving us was off. He wasn’t friendly. Thats why prolly people dont want to come in this resto.

It’s probably the best Turkish food restaurant I’ve tasted. The service is great , Ali took care of us and recommended the best plates. Everything that we ordered was excellent. The atmosphere great with one of the best views of the old city. Strongly recommend to try it.
