What could be more England than Greenwich, there is so much to see, to explore, so much knowledge and history. We did our own scenic walk about, didn't cost a penny. Well worth it.
Sehr schöne, großzügige Parkanlage. Zwar aktuell mit Baustelle, aber lohnt sich.
Great park, Nice view of Canary wharf and the Thames from the Royal Observatory. Nice cafe at the top the Pavilion Cafe and in the Observatory. Toilets are available halfway up the hill. Car park at the top near the cafe, very busy. Has the Queen's House and National Maritime museum at the bottom. Really nice park to take the children to ride their bikes and scooters.
Park is looking lovely with the cherry blossom in full bloom, plenty of open space, flower garden is really colourful and the pavilion cafe is open for a relaxing cuppa or cold drink, plenty of seating throughout the park, clean and well maintained. Great place to take the kids

It is accessible for pushchairs and prams; children also enjoy it as there is a playground for the younger ones next to the museum building.
There is a caffe shop for snacks, sandwiches and hot beverages, as for cold bottled drinks. Good choice for a day out.
There is plenty of space for ball games, bike rides, run, picnics...
Parking is a different story, as most of them are payable; 8:30 to 18:30. However, during bank holidays and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), there are more free spaces available.
There are a few free parking around, but they have limited spaces, and even some of them are titled "free" online. In fact, there are not, or they are far away from the park, but still within Greenwich council; it worth to double check.
However, some of them are pretty comfortable to go to as they are within a very short walking distance or inside the park.

I’ve been coming to Greenwich park since I was a kid. 40 years later I am still in love with this park as it’s my favourite park in London.
I love the views, the museums, the observatory and just the greenery which is stunning in each season of the year! I highly recommended the park for locals, Londoners and tourists to visit.
Came here on the weekend 13 April 2024 with my partner and went walking around there which was lovely always nice coming back to this park and seeing the greenery and views.

Ein mal auf dem 0 Meridian stehen ist schon lustig und auch das Museum im Observatorium war recht interessant. Die Parkanlage ist sauber und gepflegt auch wenn sie wegen Bauarbeiten zum Teil abgesperrt war, kann man dort sehr schön spazieren gehen

One of the best park in London to stroll, have picnics, do some exercises, dog walks and meet friends and family and cycling. The spectacular view of London can be seen on top of the hill where the Royal Observatory is. Paid parking from 9-6pm everyday. Have toilet facilities/pay by card. Ongoing refurbishment
Wunderschöner Park in dem man einen schönen Spaziergang machen kann. Tolle Aussicht auf London!
Großer, gepflegter Park, durch den der Nullmeridian verläuft. Viele Hundebesitzer lassen ihre Vierbeiner hier toben, es herrscht eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Leider ist vor dem Observatorium derzeit eine riesige Baustelle(Feb 24). Von den Hügeln aus hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf London und die „HafenCity“. Ohne die Baustelle wäre der Blick noch besser.
Schöner und sehenswerter Park. Dort kann man u.a. Die Markierung des Nullmeridians, das Observatorium oder einfach nur die Aussicht besuchen und genießen. Allerdings war es etwas überfüllt und eine große Baustelle befindet sich aktuell direkt am Observatorium, was ein Panoramafoto unmöglich machte.
Sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen, wenn man in London ist! Ein sehr schöner Park mit einer grandiosen Aussicht über London, wenn man oben angekommen ist. Einfach nur fantastisch!

Wir fanden es toll. Mit dem uber Boot hin. Das Museum und der dazugehörige Außenbereich wurde bei tollem Wetter genossen. Im großen Park gibt es immer einen Platz zum Picknick. Angrenzend gibt es viele Pubs mit sehr gutem Essen. Auf jeden Fall besuchen.

Diesen Park kann man kostenfrei besuchen. Er ist sehr gepflegt und besitzt einen alten Baumbestand. Durch den Park geht die 0 Linie. Mit GPS zu ermitteln, wenn man oben die Eintrittsgebühren sparen möchte. Wir haben den Eintritt oben bezahlt.
