This is one of the best bakeries in Mexico City. You have to get there early or plan to stand in line for as much as 20 minutes to an hour. The weekends are very busy. They have big goods in addition to sandwiches and lunch items receiving is limited, which is what causes the wait. They also have to go menu. The guava roll is excellent. Also enjoyed the croissants and their concha’s.
Panadería Rosetta is a very good bakery, but not worth queuing for an hour. I queued for about 10 minutes, and while the experience was fine and the bread was good, it's nothing extraordinary. It's similar to what you can find in any bakery in Europe, so I don't understand why people get so excited about this place.
The bakery is located in a very safe area with many restaurants, bars, and stores nearby. So, yeah, location is key, and that might explain why there's a lot of people around it.
I wouldn't queue for that long again. You can find similar desserts or pastries elsewhere in the city or the world. It's not bad, which is why I give it 5 stars, but I wouldn't go back or queue again. It's not worth it for that.

Be careful if you are sensitive to GMO flour. Some of the desserts are divine but the almond croissant had me in cramps for 6hours

Muy pésimo servicio que recibí el 12 de febrero por la tarde, anteriormente había acudido y muy bien, la persona que me atendió muy amable y servicial, todo lo contrario de la jovencita de hoy, déspota, descortés y grosera. Por mi parte, no vuelvo, logró su objetivo, no vender. Aclaro que, no solo fuí yo, en el rato que estuve, trató muy mal a todas las personas que llegaron.

The pastries and breads are the stars of the show here. Everything is super fresh and super tasty. It is incredibly busy BUT about a 15 minute walk down the street they have a 2nd location that is a hidden gem…barely anyone goes. Service is great.
