Grazie!
Shabbat Shalom!

Disappointing, especially if you don’t speak Italian. As others have mentioned, there’s little to see, no WiFi or phone signal, a few informative panels, but not super well-designed. Still, interesting to see the inside, get up close to the roof from the back garden, and happy to have contributed a little something to the upkeep. I’d call it an optional, not must-see.

Pitiful. Audioguide can't be accessed since no WiFi or phone signal....nothing in English....indifferent staff....save your money
Great range of historical items to view. Great cafe with incredible views of the square too - well worth a drink with such sights in front of you!

Macabere plek. Je mag de middag pauze niet vergeten.
The Royal Palace/Palazzo Reale of Turin shows you how the Savoia lived.
There are different sections to it. I was there on a Saturday evening when the town's museums had a special opening, and it cost me all of €1 to get in! As you can imagine, it was crowded, so I only got to see:
- Musei Reali, where you walk through ornate room after ornate room (frankly too ornate, it all gets a bit much after a while);
- the Armoury, no doubt very interesting if you're into armouries;
- the Galleria Sabauda, the collection of paintings, for about 30 seconds before announcements began asking visitors to leave as the museum was closing.

Visiting the Museum Correr in Venice with my family was supposed to be a fun day filled with art and history. As we walked through the big rooms, my kids were more excited about how loud they could echo than the old paintings on the walls. They kept asking, "How long until we leave?" It almost sounded like part of the museum's audio guide!
We looked at ancient maps that were supposed to help us understand Venice’s past, but they just made us more confused about where we were. While we tried to learn about Venice's big ships and battles, the real challenge was making sure no one wandered off towards the gelato shops in San Marco square outside.
In the part of the museum with all the fancy decorations from Napoleon's time, I tried to show my family some really cool art. But, they were too busy looking for places to connect to the internet. Even when I pointed out a really famous painting, or yet another gold-crusted ceiling, they were more interested in their own reflections in the glass protecting the artwork.
The visit was a mix of a little bit of learning, lots of looking at statues, and taking lots of family pictures with more paintings in the background than we realized. When we finally left, everyone said it was the best trip because it was over and we were off to eat pizza next.

The paintings and ceilings are breathtaking, they are ginormous. We went with a tour group and it was not too crowded. There are not many places to sit down inside and there are many stairs.
The directing in Turin was exceptional, seamlessly guiding the audience through the narrative with skillful precision. The director masterfully captured the essence of each scene, showcasing the city's beauty and cultural richness. The pacing was well-balanced, allowing for both intense moments and quiet reflection. Overall, the directing added depth and authenticity to the film, making it a truly captivating experience for viewers.
The ticket price is outrageously high, and we definitely had a visit experience that was not worth the price. We despite choosing a less crowded period in Venice and purchasing tickets in advance with a specific time slot, the palace was still crowded. This can only mean they are selling too many tickets without considering visitors' experience.
The first and longest part of your visit is a dull exhibition about the palace and the Venetian dukes. If you know nothing about Venice Palace and Dukes, the exhibition might be interesting, but if you have even a bit of knowledge, it will feel boring. The rooms they prepared for this exhibition are specially designed to close off the palace, with walls covered in burgundy plaster and ceilings covered with nets, giving no sense of being inside a palace. We thought the whole visit would be like this, and we felt disappointed.
In the second part, you get to see the grand palace rooms and halls. The rooms are truly beautiful with their magnificent ceilings and walls adorned with paintings.
The third part involves visiting the prison by crossing the Bridge of Sighs. It's an empty and boring walk. You only see prison cells.
In short, you pay an exorbitant fee to see a few rooms and halls of the palace amidst a crowded mass of people. I definitely don't think it's worth it.

Not worth the time. The inside of a few houses linked toghether with not even a directional path to create a course. Basic experience. For 4 EUR you’d better eat an icecream.
An absolutely beautiful palace for the Duke of Venice. The first floor is not exactly all that appealing, but once you get into the "chambers", you will be surrounded by golden ceilings and oil paintings everywhere. In the largest room of the palace, you will find "Paradise", the world's largest oil painting. I think it is a very bad idea to build a prison in the Duke's palace, but it seems to have worked out for them. Located in a great place in the San Marco plaza, and next to the Basilica di San Marco and the end of the Grand Canal.
It worth a visit if you had never been in something similar around Europe. The rooms with the paintings at the part of the Museum were small and the Royal part it was imposing but the atmosphere inside was dusty and it was smelly!
We paid 30€ for 2 adults!
I want also to mention that one girl at the ticket office was rude when I asked her where I can change my baby -she said she doesn’t work (but she was still in the ticket office 😅)! Unfortunately,I met lots of RUDE people in Turin ! You feel you are not welcome anywhere!
