Ganz nettes Cafe mit gutem Frühstück

Good food and prices. Tasty drinks and a nice atmosphere. Occasional live music and karaoke. Out of all the restaurants along the strip this is a great selection. Cash only though

Great drinks, nice beach location, mediocre service. They make really nice Daiquiries with fresh fruit. Like papaya and passion fruit Daiquiri.

The Mojito Restaurant seems to be very popular in Cabarete and recommended... I wonder why... My husband and I went there for dinner. There were no free tables on the beach, but we found a spot inside. We sit down and... it begins! A lesson in patience... We wait endlessly for the menu, then again endlessly for the waitress to come take our order. She doesn't approach, so we almost forcibly flag down another passing by our table. Unfortunately, she responds in Spanish and doesn't take our order. We hunt down another waitress. We finally manage to place our order. And again, the endless waiting begins. Having learned from experience, I head out to the beach knowing I have plenty of time. During this time, someone from the staff brings cutlery but only for one person. Well, I wasn't at the table... ;) We wait, wait, and wait... finally, they bring us... everything at once, appetizers and main courses together! My husband starts eating soup, but... he ordered a different one and this one has chicken. I try as well, hmm. There's no point in asking because everything will be cold before someone comes to us. My husband starts eating the soup, and then the waitress comes, takes his bowl, and says it's not his soup! :D I wonder if she'll take it to the person who ordered it. :D =P After a while, my husband gets his soup. Okay, we eat our dishes and wait. We can splurge today and maybe have some dessert. ;) But we don't have the strength to wait another hour hoping someone will come to us. We try to summon anyone from the staff with our eyes, but everyone moves as if in a trance, avoiding customers' gazes. Finally, my husband goes to get the menu. We quickly choose a dessert, but to eat it, we have to order it first... My patience has long since run out! I go to the lady at the kitchen and say I want to order dessert. I succeed, and surprisingly, we get it relatively quickly. Now just to pay. The waitress seems to come alive as she quickly brings the bill and can even muster a smile on her face. She doesn't leave the bill, probably waiting for a good tip... This restaurant marked the end of our dining out. Despite being located in such a cool place, the Mojito Restaurant is not one that can be recommended. The food is okay, but the service definitely needs improvement, and the entire staff should undergo proper training.

On the plus side, the atmosphere, location, food, drinks and prices are great.
But jeez the service is appalling! Every one of them is miserable, disinterested and oh-so-slow! It took FIFTY minutes to serve the second of my 2-for-1 mojitos. My meal arrived before my drink!!!
(And the worst thing? I was here last Feb and it was exactly the same then!)

An amazing beach bar / restaurant in Cabarete! Came for dinner and drinks before we realized it was also a club. Stayed for the festivities and was pleasantly surprised. A must visit!

We were there for a few hours, enjoying the view of the beach, some swimming and getting drinks. We decided to order dinner for our group of 7. The waiter took our order. An hour or so later we found out he went home and we had to order again. This isn't the first time this happened at ojo. When their shift is over, they seem to just go home without notifying anyone about their table/s. It also seems their shifts change right around dinner time. That being said, we all had a good time and I would go back. The food was great. I had the chicken schnitzel and it was delicious. Absolutely love this place. Every visit to DR I make sure I do lunch at OJO.

Sehr schlechter Service. Haben 3 mal etwas zu Trinken bestellt und nur 1 mal was bekommen. Vorspeise und Hauptspeise sind nicht gleichzeitig gekommen. Essen war mittelmässig. Am Ende 2h gebraucht für 2 Vorspeisen, 2 Pizzen und eine Pasta.

Belle tutte le piscine e pulito l'ambiente in generale.
La camera assegnata a noi molto, molto brutta e arredamento vecchio.
Purtroppo ho dovuto chiedere più volte i prodotti per il bagno perché non venivano reintegrati e la pulizia della camera e del bagno molto sommaria, quasi inesistente.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Captain Bailee Deluxe Pizza war super. 👍
Der Rest wird auf Wunsch eingepackt, um ihn mitnehmen zu können.
Der Erdbeermilchshake war ebenfalls super.
Gemütliche Stühle und Musik.

Das Gericht Golpe Dominicano hat gut geschmeckt. Nette Kellner und kostenloses WLAN.

Beste Urlaub meines Lebens. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Auch wenn du keine vip Gast bist kannst du fast lles benutzen und genießen. Whirpool am Strand 24 Stunden lang essen und cocktails. Abends shows und Diskos und Sonntag Das Highlight draußen Party mit Show und Essen was mann sich wünschen kann. Hoffentlich diese November wieder . Bis bald und bitte dirty monkey cocktail probieren 🥰

Family came here for dessert. First I just want to say this area really isn't for families with kids. This is an area with working girls. With that said, this place is pretty good. We came for ice cream for the kids. The tiramisu was pretty good. Did not eat any food so can't comment on it.

La comida muy rica pero la atencion es horrible si eres extranjero. Si eres dominicano ve q te atienden de una y te traen la comida en menos de 5 min. Encambio a nosotros casi ni nos miraron y se demoraron en traernos la comida estuvimos en el restaurante 1 hora y 45 min. HORRiBLE costumer service!

Also ich bin wirklich sehr geschockt von diesem Resort. Wir haben ganz normal über Holidaycheck gebucht und sind mehr als enttäuscht. Hier gibt es eine Klassifizierung. Wir hatten die normalen gelben Armbänder, aber hier wird man permanent dazu gezwungen upzugraden. Das besteht dann aber nicht aus einer Zahlung, man muss stattdessen eine Mitgliedschaft eingehen mit monatlichen Zahlungen, die man auch nicht kündigen kann.
Das Essen ist immer das gleiche. Abwechslung hat man auch nicht wirklich wegen der Option der Restaurants. Dort gibt es dann auch immer das gleiche. Unerhört ist es auch, dass VIP Bänder zum Beispiel Languste bestellen können und uns nicht Mal die Option angeboten wird es gegen Geld zu kaufen. Das ist eine unglaubliche Frechheit. Meine Freundin war krank und wir durften nicht Mal eine Kanne mitnehmen mit heißem Wasser für Tee, weil komischerweise auch keine Möglichkeit bestand ein Wasserkocher zu bestellen. Man hat im Zimmer selbst eine Kaffeemaschine. Uns wurde sogar gesagt, dass wir einfach damit heißes Wasser machen sollen. Alkohol ist im All inklusive zwar drinnen, aber die nicht VIP Bänder bekommen billigen schlechten Alkohol, sodass man sogar sagen könnte, man hat kein Alkohol drinnen. Ich trinke nichts außer ab und zu Bier. Die Putzkräfte sind mega langsam und auch noch schlecht. Die Zimmer selbst sind total feucht. Die Schuhe meine Freundin haben Pilz bekommen und mussten weggeschmissen werdeb. Die Betten sind hart und auch nicht sauber. Ich werde dieses Hotel keinem empfehlen!

Ich bin nun seit 6 Jahren regelmäßiger Kunde und muss sagen, ich bin zufrieden, aber: "Es war schon besser in der Küche...." Leider wird die konstruktive Kritik nicht angenommen, nicht von mir, als auch nicht von vielen anderen Kunden. Früher hat man den Koch mit 5 Sterne Hotel Ausbildung und Tätigkeit gemerkt. Was steigt sind jedes die Preise und die Orientierung von International zu América Eating Style. Ansonsten 100% Super Gut wie zb. das Personal im Service und an der Bar.
