Marienplatz train station is consistently crowded, and navigating its numerous floors can be confusing, making it challenging to easily find the desired train line. The display screens outside often don't show the complete list of departure lines, causing confusion, particularly with U and S train numbers. Additionally, cleanliness falls short compared to other train stations.
Amazing and modern train station. Always full of movement and activity, it is a true transport hub built for the FIFA World cup 2006. It connects long distance, regional and suburban trains with metro, tram and buses.
There is also a huge shopping center embedded full of eateries and various shops. Very safe

For me it's the centre of Berlin. Trams, overland and underground all converge. Shopping everywhere. Places to eat even at half 4 in the morning. Station is clean and feels safe. If only British railways where run so efficiently.

This station is the most Berliner thing you'll see in Berlin. Not only dirty, but also extremely badly organized. Try to find your platform, good luck.

Massive queues at the security control (+1hr).
Vip lounge is time limited (they dont let you stay more than 3 hours). Dont use this vip lounge, also one with the worst facilites I have ever been.

I wish to bring to your attention an incident that occurred on January 13, 2023, at approximately 01:50 AM at Alexanderplatz hbf. My party and I found ourselves in need of restroom facilities, only to discover that they were closed for cleaning.
What compounded our inconvenience was the lack of assistance from the cleaning staff present. We attempted to communicate with the staff member, inquiring about alternative restroom options. Regrettably, the worker did not respond or offer any guidance, leaving us in a difficult and uncomfortable situation.
I understand the necessity of maintaining cleanliness in public facilities, but I believe it is equally important to assist patrons, especially during such closures. I kindly request that you review this incident with your staff and implement measures to ensure that visitors are provided with clear information and assistance, particularly when facilities are temporarily unavailable.
Your attention to improving customer service in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

former main train station of the GDR, usually quite clean with many shops. please don't stay not in the basement for too long since there are crazy people down there!!!
Too many drunk homeless people there. A couple of minutes ago at the entrance to the s bahn station a homeless junky vomited on people
S1 and S8 train service from Munich airport into downtown Munich totally closed for several weeks Poor bus replacement ??
it needs clearer instructions for automated check in. There was a row of digital check in machines but the airline I travelled with wasn't on their menu, therefore creating unnecessary confusion and flustering. Not welcomed. It was elsewhere and I had to search for it. Otherwise, the terminals are manageable size and since the security location change is more streamlined. Good selections of eating places once past the security check. Finally, there is one and the only water bottle refill station. Ask for it at the information desk but be prepared to spend a long time refilling a small bottle as it literally trickles. It's far better than Vienna airport which is still stuck in the last century and has no water bottle refilling station at all.
Train qui arrive avec 30 minutes de retard. On est serrés comme des sardines avec nos valises et aucunes places assises, et le conducteur se permet encore de nous dire au micro que si on s'asseoit pas il nous vire du train. C'est honteux !!!

Malgré la foule en plein mois de juillet j'ai mis 20 min à pied du T1 à la gare en suivant les panneaux.
Les trains étaient à l'heure, la gare propre et des agents de la DB répondaient aux voyageurs. Top !

Different connections of S U and bus at one location.
We were there for Christmas market and it was isanely beautiful. The atmosphere was great and the food and drinks was very tasty. But the arhitecture was the highlight of the market, great buildings!
This place is so bad on organization. Second time here I am wasting time and energy. First time due to online issues and enormous security lines, this time due to waiting for luggage for 30 minutes, for belt to be changed to a new destination with no luggage delivered. Eurowings and Hamburg airport - a "no go" as much as you can.
Gare mythique pendant les années de partition par le mur de Berlin. C'était la gare de Berlin Ouest, dans Charlotenburg, au bout du fameux Kudamm. Connu dans les annêes 70 aussi comme repaire de junkies. Actuellement n'est plus l'ombre que d'elle même, une vague gare de S Bahn, U Bahn ou trains mais sans intéret particulier, à part les souvenirs réels ou de romans brumeux à parfum d'espionite....
Beaucoup de travaux, beaucoup d'ascenseurs et escalators en panne
Tourist spot located in a historic area with many other sights in Berlin, easy to find and free. It's worth trying to follow a free walking tour to learn more about the history of the monuments.
I don't want to give this a low review but I have to so you can see it. At night, while walking through the station's level that has shops on it, I saw a mouse in the food case at Scoom. Mice do come out at night, and this is a train station, so it's possible for them to get in, but Scoom should find a way to keep them out. Please pass on this information.
Charming station right in the city centre next to Berlin tower with great ambience. Lot of food and beer options around and shopping stores.

Nice station you will surely visit to check beautiful Tiergarten park as well as many other attractions starting of course with Brandenburg gate and Reichstag which is near.
Berlin ostbahnhof is really big with Departure and arrival different places in Berlin and outside .The place have Deutsche station staff 24 hours to attend to people .Some one can also do shopping there in Penny ,Rewe und Rossmann.There are still other shopping shops there , Like snacks shops ,clothes ,and many more.Hotel is also in the station.Nice experience there. The station is clean.
