We love this basilica. Unlike its brother on the hill, St. Sava, this church has beauty without the glitz and gold. The paintings are awesome as is the sedate and peaceful feeling you get inside. It is truly a place of serenity and stillness that allow for reflection and prayer.

Super Vero and Jumbo are where we do the bulk of our grocery shopping. The Jumbo side has much of what you might need for house, home, car care, and children’s stuff. The Vero side is a solid grocery store with a nice butcher where we buy most of our meat. It also has a delicatessen where you have a very nice assortment of cheeses and meats. The staff are a little rude and seem put out to get stuff for you if they are restocking. We find adult libations for our bar cabinet as a good selection of pantry items for cooking our meals.

The produce area is not all that great. You can find basic fruits and vegetables but not a huge selection. And the frozen food is not all that great either. A lot of the items look old and have freezer burn.

The checkout cashiers have always been nice and helpful for us.

This is a solid shopping mall just outside city center. In fact, as much as I like Galerija Mall, I think this may be better. It has more and better shops for the average shopper and with the Vero/Jumbo and LIDL right next door, you can get all your shopping done in one stop. It has the best food court of any mall I have been to in Belgrade and is clean. With a Starbucks and Coffee Room there, it will be a destination for me.

I do see a lot of complaints about the parking fee. I do not have a car yet and probably wouldn’t use one in city center anyway … way too congested and way too few parking spaces. But, I do agree that if you buy food or coffee or merchandise, the mall should validate your parking and it be free. But if people are parking and not buying things or using it as parking for work or visiting friends, 100 dinar an hour is not a bad deal. The mall should consider revising their parking fee rules.

A good, solid coffee shop that has nice snack, sweet, and coffee menus. The place is always busy on weekends and in the evening. Service is a little slow with the tables that need attention. Best time to go if you can is during the week. They have decaffeinated coffee which is great since most coffee shops here in Belgrade do not.
