My favorite hole in the wall in the whole wide world. Cool, relaxed and with super friendly people behind the bar. If only they could accept CC - I keep forgetting the cash only policy and it’s super inconvenient. How about bank transfer, guys?

This is a genuine countryside local, the kind that transports you to a place where time stands still, and the location feels so timeless that it could be anywhere on this planet. As long as they speak German, that is.

I went for lunch, so I can't speak to how the place looks in the evening. During our visit, it was very quiet, which wasn’t a bad thing. The food was extraordinary, and the service was fun and attentive.

Simplicity on a whole new level. Great cocktails (too much ice ice baby in some).
