One of the more interesting features of the Icon Siam mall... Even more so when the light is low (evening) and the falls are in full show mode... Look out for a variety of patterns, waves and even lettering showing in the droplet shower amid a dazzling LED display.. either just amble past and take a look.. or make a meal of it at one of the several restaurants surrounding this feature.
Move up to the Icon Hall floor for different points of view looking down over this stunning display.

Busy for a Monday evening public holiday .. queues moving fast and trains every 5 minutes in both directions.
Conveniently also close to a bus/can stop for most intercity coach and van companies.

A very busy interchange for BTS and airport rail link connectivity. Two stops away from major shopping malls, but a gateway to restaurants and hotels in the area on street level.
Access in most directions by lift, escalators or stairs and bigger access gates for travellers to and from Suvarnabhumi airport.

Not your "normal park"... Think more along the lines of a late afternoon lovers promenade.. an urban green space that offers the backdrop of plants and sky scrapers against the artificial slopes built over a canal. Different - yes. Photo opportunities galore. Child friendly? A flat no, unless the adrenaline rush of saving your child from every jagged rock, open water source and unprotected drop is your thing. (Did I mention no swings, slides or sandpit either?)
Do make an effort for an early morning or sunset shoot.. zero shade and with the heat radiating of every surface.. your glamour would be on the pavement in a puddle of sweat as soon as of you step of Chong Nonsi BTS - the closest stop as well.

Hats, water and umbrellas.. come armed for the weather.. there is no shelter from a sudden downpour either.

Beautiful park in old town Bangkok. Well maintained. Crows traffic noise the occasional aircraft and piped music all competing with the serenity of the park. Current date 14 November 2021.. the fountains didn't appear to work. But the park was being enjoyed by fitness enthusiasts.. couples.. children and a few families. Excellent green space that makes you forget you are in a city.
