Tasty cafe

The name tells you everything you need to know. I have been looking for a creamy and rich plate of noodles and I found it here. No 7 peppers as I am sick of tasting the cinnamon even on Italian dishes.
My food was exquisite. Also, they have really good prices. Moreover, if you are in Beirut because you want to practice Arabic, tell your waiter, he will be patient with you. Ours, was.

I thought the food was good but I just tasted the quibbe (fried) and a plate of tabbouli. The service was good too—although I find a little irregular that they run by the customers with the coals burning on fire.
I paid 18000 lira for 5 quibbe and tabbouli. Not bad.

Bread and coffee are good. My inly issue with franchises is that they totally forget at times the culture where they are operating. I was hoping to find some bread with zaatar or manaish but nahhh... all I found was croissants.

These guys working here are efficient. While one takes the order, the other one has the beverage ready.
I love the fact that Starbucks incorporated Lebanese ingredients in their products. For instance, the mint lemonade I just got has a mint infusion. Or the sandwiches on the counter have their cheese, and the cookies, a different shape.
It is located directly across from the Raouche rocks.
