This is my second visit to this restaurant specializing in Teochew cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes, particularly the pickled vegetable pork belly (梅菜扣肉), braised halibut, red stewed platter, and the vibrant array of kuih desserts.
I was thrilled to stumble upon a kopitiam offering a wide selection of delectable dishes from various stalls. The coconut milk glutinous rice with kaya and curry chicken was a standout, perfectly complemented by the fragrant local coffee. Equally tantalizing were the chee cheong fun and yam cake, although I couldn't resist the urge to try the stuffed chili and fish balls – a temptation saved for my next visit.

The veal marango was expertly stewed, retaining the delightful sweetness of the carrots without being overcooked. We absolutely adored the escargot prepared in the Pol Pot style, so much so that we used bread to savor every last drop. The French onion soup was undeniably delicious, and while the burnt croutons introduced a smoky note, their bitterness was a minor disappointment. Perhaps it's a deliberate touch to enhance the soup's flavor. The duck confit was nicely cooked and I truly love the taste of the fries and the generous serving of salad on the side. Our overall experience was exceptional, leaving us eager to return on our next trip to Paris.
