Spent an afternoon at this amazing market. It is full of unique eateries and once you step inside you get a glimpse of how these folks live large and enjoy life with the unpredictable weather of Berlin.
Each eatery is unique and there are a number of stores selling food products. I’d go bankrupt if I lived nearby.
Had two of the most amazing pizzas there, nothing short of what you’d get in Rome.
The atmosphere is amazing and everyone we spoke with just had a huge smile.
It’s a small version of Seattle’s Pike Place market or Toronto’s St Lawrence market.

Al Thumama Stadium
This stadium originally built for the FIFA World Cup 2022 is a work of art! It is pristine, well-maintained with tons of parking, and very nicely organized.
Food at the stands costs a fraction of what we pay in gouging North American stadiums!
The nighttime lighting is phenomenal and it has a state of the art sound system.

Restaurante O Portas
This spot is smack in the middle of everything, including lots of other restaurants, but it stands out because the folks that run it are quite fun, and the amazing lady that served us had a great sense of humour.
They don’t shove a menu in your face or talk you into taking a seat. Fact is, they’re always busy in the evenings and their food speaks for itself.
The chicken is cooked flawlessly and has a lovely char. Carbonara may not be completely traditional but hey this isn’t Italy and it tastes darn amazing!

Art One Academy Markham
We exchanged a couple of emails about my kids' interests and eventually tried their free trial class. My boys came out with a massive smile at the end and we signed them up for a number of classes. They really know what they're doing, very systemic and engaging for kids... and the most important thing is that they make it fun for kids.
Mastermind Montessori Schools
My kid went there for a year and we have nothing but great things to say about this school. Staff, methodology, atmosphere, cleanliness, everything is great.
