An excellent private collection given to the town. The archaeological rooms were closed when I visited but very much enjoyed the mainly 19th paintings of Sorrento and Naples and wished it looked more like that now rather than the present day chaos with the traffic and tourists. Some beautiful views from the villa across the Bay of Naples. You'll spend about an hour here.

Magnificent complex of buildings, city art collection, spectacular recently restored frescoed ceilings and the greatest views over the main square. Spent 2hrs here including going to the clock tower. The main town hall rooms are free to enter, otherwise €8 for everything else.

Yet another spectacular church in this wondrous city

8/10. A well thought out relatively new city historical museum in the fabulous Palazzo Pepoli. The rooms takes you through all the periods in Bolognas history and I strongly recommend taking the audio guide. Museum is not yet finished but alot of effort has gone into this. You can do this visit in just over an hour.

Very good. Nice relaxed square. Good service. Good value. Nice people. Could sit here for hours...
