An ode to the 90s. That's how people used to shop earlier, when there were no malls or high end shops to go to. I went there to check out some of the shops for footwear. Most of the shops are dedicated to footwear, handbags, purses and the like. There was a Durga Puja draw going on when I was there. Overall, it's a good shopping experience here. There are lots of food stalls as well.

The only solace for hungry souls in and around the CPT Colony. The lone proper tea stall that is regularly frequented by people who work or live nearby. They have deep-fried snacks as well, like Aloo Bora, Bread Pakora, Litti, tea & biscuits.

We personally didn't know that there was a Maa Vaishno Devi Temple here in Kolkata. I've been going to Vaishno Devi in Jammu for the past 20 years and to have a new Temple here in Kolkata is very welcoming.

You have to keep going towards Rajarhat crossing from Chinar Park. After 650m, there is a huge gate embossed with the temple name. Keep moving towards the first right and you will find the 3 storeyed temple in a small lane. The Temple complex is neat and clean and the 9 incarnations of Maa Durga are present here. I loved the place. Will keep coming more and more.

Superb banquet hall. The only pain here is that there are around 6-7 banquet halls in the same building. You can have a tough time finding car parking space and getting outt of there.

Coming to the banquet facility, you get a green room as well. The caterer and the decorator are good persons and will fit right in to your budgets. They do a superb job with the food and the decor. The rates are reasonable as well.

I believe its one of those small places that needs special mention when it comes to Restaurants. A humble restaurant tucked inside a small lane, this beaut of a restaurant has me rolled all over for its Chinese.
Although I have never sat here and ate, it has always been a delivery, but the quality of the food is simply amazing. Humble portions per plate to serve that extra hunger.
Very pocket friendly and delivery is done in a whoosh. Just try it out and you will thank me.
