This is actually the old Nostalgic Dubai. The biggest convention center and a lot of capacious halls for any event.
A lot of parking slots but expensive in fact, it can reach 80 aed for 8 hours.
Many good places to visit in this area such as Future museum.

#JBR walkway There are a lot of restaurants over here. Though there are few shops and restaurants, for hamburger I suggest Five guys.
Tram is waking distance.

Thing to know before heading to the mall ,the mall is locating in a heavy traffic zone so reaching the mall in the mid of day can destroy your plans even Taxi can charge you more because of that. Moreover, poor selection of stores ,some of customer service staff not welcoming. I think its overrated!
