Tourists paid money to go to the observation deck below the restaurant. They could easily just come to the restaurant, grab lunch and/or dinner while it slowly revolves (take about 50 min per revolution).

I was here during Christmas time - just ordered from the regular menu vs the seasonal special (or buffet). Can't beat the view and the service is good. Menu is fairly limited. The food is good but not exceptional. The price is not overly expensive considering the ambiance.

Definitely a good place to bring your special someone to celebrate and enjoy the incredible view of Metro Vancouver.

This short hike can serve as a nice pit stop when driving between BC and AB. The trail is well maintained and total distance of ~1 km. It is steep downhill hike to reach the waterfall. What goes down must come up. You will have a good workout coming back up with your legs stretched and ready to drive another x hours. The waterfall is not the most picturesque but you can get very close and be cooled down by the mist.
