Veganitas
Great experience!
I found Veganitas on HappyCow and I decided to pay it a visit for a lunch.
I took the Beyond Burger and it was really good. Fries and drink were good too, even though it was a bit of a disappointment to learn that they don’t have ketchup.
I also found a friendly, English-speaking customer service and good-looking premises. I would certainly recommend Veganitas and I will definitely be back soon.

La Piadina
I was passing by and I saw the “veganuary” signs outside so I thought I’ll give it a go and try their vegan piadina.
The piadina was so so, eatable but certainly not memorable. Prices are fair but the staff member who assisted me didn’t speak English which is just unacceptable in an international city like Zurich in my opinion, especially given that the store is located at the central station.
Overall, not that great. I would perhaps give it another go but there are certainly better places in Zurich.

Antica Roma
I have been to Antica Roma on multiple occasions with colleagues for lunch but never really took the time to review it.
Normally, I tend to give more positive reviews (4 or 5 stars) but there are two significant shortcomings here that I cannot ignore.
Firstly, there are no vegan options. It's 2021 and veganism has been growing exponentially for years, it's just unacceptable for a restaurant not to have one single vegan option.
Secondly, many waiters do not speak English. It's rare to find a restaurant in Zurich where staff don't speak English so I found it really disappointing that a restaurant located in the centre of a major business district had at least half of the waiters who did not speak a word of English.
Besides that, pizzas are good and the salad that they usually bring as a starter (included in the price) is really nice.
I will probably go back to Antica Roma at some point in the future as it is just across the road from my office but it's certainly not one of my favourite choices and would definitely NOT recommend it.
