Free parking and plenty of it. Good play equipment well maintained. Loads of open space, a river, woodland areas, gorgeous views, the train goes by regularly and there are toilets and a cafe (part time opening). What’s not to love!

Regular visitors to coral island. The parking nearby is hectic and the spaces are small. There are plenty of change machines, cash points and you can also pay for a lot of the games with contactless. It’s as clean as this type of place gets and there’s three places to eat. Chippy, pub and diner. It’s all ok but but amazing. Our only niggle is that the staff are always really unfriendly and grumpy. Like uncomfortably so.

The venue is in a busy area of town with a choice of chargeable parking within a five minute walk. There are plenty of bars and eateries nearby too. Taxis are outside when the shows finish. The theatre is old but beautiful with original features still in tact. The chairs are dated and small, fine for us but I did see more than one person struggling with the width of the seat. Toilets and bars aren’t great if you have any access needs, they all include steps. Not sparklingly clean either. Shows always top with good views from anywhere. Staff are always helpful and polite. Overall it’s pretty standard for a theatre of this age. But some additional cleaning and a deep clean wouldn’t do the place any harm!

Nice couple of hours for a mooch round. Some interesting pieces to see and a cafe on the first floor. Roadside parking is available very close by (small charge) and this is opposite the Fusilier’s museum also. There are events on regularly so worth checking social media and the website for updates. Right in the town centre and very accessible from Bury Interchange.
