This Japanese restaurant is located indoor in the Ava shopping center. I am not a sushi connoisseur but my friend liked it. It’s a nice, energetic vibe.

I have been here multiple times. They have other branches but I have been to Jordan Ave location only. There is no parking, you have to street park. It s a large indoor space, very simple decor, sit-eat-leave type of place. Medium to high noise level. Tables are close so be careful they can hear you, you neighbor may just stop eating to listen to ur life life story😁
Service is fast and efficient. If you look for a fancy, cozy and quiet place for you and your date this is not that.
We ordered shishlik that is a barbecued lamb chop that was great as always. It’s good size probably 5 or 6 pieces served on skewer. Saffron rice and butter was great.
We shared one shishlik and if both of your are not big eaters it’s quite enough.

My experience in Ghassab restaurant was not as great as I expected. I have been here twice. The restaurant is located in Fereshte street, on a trendy neighborhood. Main specialty appears to be steaks and Kabobs. I wanted to reserve but they didn’t and told me to come and may have a 30 minute wait. When I left there was a line of people outside. We started with Salad. It was large and enough for a party of 2-4. Following that we ordered lamb liver and lamb chops called “sheeshlik”. It should be 6 pieces of barbecued lamb chop but if was 5 so you could call it
“ Panjlik”, one land chop was MIA ( missed in action). The service was rushed, meaning even when we overdress salad served kept asking about the main menu. So it is sit-eat-leave 😁 for a trendy restaurant I expected more time for patrons to sit and relax and hopefully enjoy the ambience. It’s more like a fancy Chokabob restaurant. The lamb chop was not as hot as I expected. Lamb liver was hot but chewy and not tasteful. Sautéed onion at the side was better. It was also floating in a lot of oil. Overall for the price I expected better service and more tasty food. For a party of three we paid 30+ dollars and were rushed out for next customer 😁

Garden is situated North of Tehran. There is a restaurant and a few small shops inside it. There are also several miniature historical structures in the garden which is nice to see.

I really liked this place. Not only I had lunch here next morning I came back for breakfast. So be ware you may get addicted here. They are somehow related to a charity organization, details I do not know. It is also designed for disabled access which is a new concept in Tehran restaurant. So it is wheelchair accessible, that is awesome.
First day we did not have reservation and literally we had to sign up and come back two hour later. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is in a garden like environment, with flowers and paintings, see photos. Bathroom was clean and modern.
We ordered Tah Dig, potato, Lavash bread and rice, yummy and egg plant stew. It was tasty. Also fried sea bass I think was good with rice and vegetables (Sabzi polo). I found the food of both tast and look appealing. Appetizer eggplant and touvurt was awesome, I suggest you try it.
Next morning breakfast we tried fried Egg and lamb shoulder sandwich. Lucky for me my partner did not eat her food so I ate everything and cleaned the plate.
Servers were nice, attentive and not intrusive and I loved the service. Definitely when I get hungry I will go back.
Just listen to me and make reservation, that’s all.👍🏼
