Where’s the zero rating? How many times have the delivery drivers come to my door instead of my tenants door, and my tenant has given explicit directions, “southside, back of the house, unit B, smaller door, up the driveway… “. But apparently they hire people who only know how to follow a map on the application and move their feet. No reading is required. No reading in the language of the customer is required. No sense of responsibility is required as exhibited by the driver, who drove over a wooden deck and crushed it, and took no responsibility for it. And skip the dishes, refused to take responsibility for the driver, who apparently didn’t know how to drive either. So now my tenant says if you can’t back up don’t drive up the driveway. A 15 point turn around onto a wooden deck, does not make you driver enabled.
Today I had a visitor from a fellow 30 minutes away across the river, complaining that he was getting all of our delivery drivers from skip the dishes. I had to explain to him that I don’t order from skip the dishes that it’s my tenant in the back and that he’s probably not aware that his food is late all of the time. But what I suspect is that this man is so thoroughly annoyed that some Rando appears at his doorstep rings the doorbell and then takes off and it’s not for him. I asked him if he’s enjoyed any of the food, and I couldn’t make out what he said, but it sounded like no he had to return it. Again, why do you hire some of the worst people in the world? I’m not saying that you have to be able to read the language of the country that you’ve moved to, but for dog’s sake, follow the app and don’t assume that it’s closer to you on the north side. The address is correct. Maps will take you there if you make sure the full address is in the map app. Don’t just enter the street address. Add the city or the postal code.
If it were me, I’d tip outside of the app. If it’s on time, you get a good tip. From there, it depends on if my ice cream is melted!!
