An architecturally great building. Excellent presented and informative exhibits. For the current "The Arctic - While the Ice Is Melting", the presentation is impressive. However, ironically, the exhibit uses many high-energy consuming projectors for visual effects, constantly generating and releasing heat. No wonder the ice is melting.

Only one floor space is dedicated to Norwegian history. Nevertheless, the Vikingr exhibit has some of the unique artifacts on Vikingr and Rune Stone.

Visiting this museum before going to Vigeland Park will make you more appreciative of the sculptures and gain more knowledge about Vigeland's art.

Great view of the falls. The Visitors Center is closed. It looks like it is in need of repair.

Well maintained beach park with few picnic tables and washroom.
