Pera Museum
2024 Jul 14
The Pera Museum is a gallery on the street of the same name. It is a building of four floors. On the first and second floors there is an exhibition dedicated to scales, measuring instruments and household products. There are both historical treasures and interactive platforms. On the third floor, the exhibition is dedicated to diplomatic missions and consuls from different countries. On the fourth floor we viewed a photo exhibition telling the life stories of people who moved and started new lives in Istanbul. There is a cafe on site and seminars are also held. The staff is polite and understanding. For example, if your umbrella gets wet, they will offer to pack it. There are not many exhibits, but I believe in this museum.
Suleymaniye Mosque

The most beautiful and charming mosque in Istanbul, surrounded by trees. Stunning views of the strait. There is an atmosphere of calm inside the mosque. If you are not covered with a scarf or your clothes are too short, the staff will provide you with a special scarf and skirt for both men and women. Inside you can find literature for studying Islam. In addition, interactive boards have been installed to familiarize yourself with history. There is a paid toilet with a changing board on site. If you exit to the right of the mosque, you will find a municipal (free) toilet, which has a separate room for mothers and babies.
