Food was excellent and service was above par. We got a number of starters and also a bunch of pork and calf based main dishes. They were all very filling and tasty. I recommend the calf’s head as a delicacy and the ribs as a safe choice. These are generic German dishes but are made more tasty with that French twist.
The wines selected by the waitress to pair with our dishes were also excellent. And she was very hospitable. Overall I would return and dine here again. Good food, great service!

Rialto Bridge
Best time to take photos is before 07:30 AM. The crowds haven’t swarmed yet and the light is perfect. The cafes surrounding it will be overpriced and so will the souvenirs.
Nevertheless, it’s a cant miss view from up top and below the bridge. And you will need to cross it a few times when you explore across major Venetian islands.

San Giovanni Vini e Cicchetti
On the pricier side but a great location for people watching. Great for a little break after a day of walking for a glass of wine and some cicchetis (Italian tapas).
A morning coffee is about 2-3 euros while an afternoon spritz is about 6-7 euros. The service was always fast during the two times I came here. The Asian family running it is quite friendly.

The Breakfast Club Hoxton
The Full English Breakfast was very filling and two people of medium appetite could probably share it. No dogs allowed, which was a bummer, but the staff prepped our takeout meals quickly!
The bacon and the beans were my favorite part of the Full Breakfast. The bacon still had that clear pork taste that wasn’t over powered by its saltiness. The beans had some deep flavor indicating that they were cooked slow, possibly overnight.
I will return here again and will try another breakfast staple they have!

Blacklock Shoreditch
Service was above and beyond and so was the ambience. Food was also above average and was served quickly. Cocktails were also decent!
Deducted one star for a very subjective thing: we had a burger and the sauce overpowered the two patties of beef that came with it. Next time I will order sauce on the side instead.
We also had the steak and it went well with the sauce provided. Same with the pighead on toast! Overall I would come back here again and perhaps just do the ALL IN menu instead!
