The medical care was amazing. Unfortunately after being told just prior to an emergency appendectomy we were told he had to pay a $10K Cdn deposit. The surgery was Dec 28th. We asked repeatedly for a copy of the bill that was submitted. They said get it from the Insurance company. My husband needs to see a dr for follow up and ultrasound of wound area and needs the documents. Being told that it was a person In Mexico handled it. Neither he or his head office staff has contacted us. If you are in business where you have our money in your account we are your client. I don’t think. Can deal with Unimed n the future and if you are covered by insurance don’t count on professional business which is unfortunate because the medical care was amazing.
