Roatan Clinic UNIMED Urgent Care
We were on vacation in Roatan for two weeks, and my three year old fell and broke her elbow about a week into our trip. We immediately rushed to the Unimed Urgent Care, and they provided some of the best medical care I ever seen rendered . Everything was done incredibly professionally, and in away that made my little girl feel at ease. Staff went out of their way to make sure that all the procedures were done up to the highest standard and as quickly as possible. Billing process was very straightforward and my insurance worked everything out.
Dr. Coleman prepared us for the flight back to US by making sure we had the right meds and her arm was in a splint/sling, my daughter did not complain a single time for pain or discomfort, while traveling for seven hours through different airports.
Her injury wasn’t too serious or life-threatening, but if it was , the clinic has a capability to mad evac by air to Florida in around hours which is impressive. knowing that medical care like this is available will probably make us return to Roatan again.
