Saba cafe
2024 Jun 19
We visited Cafe Saba located in Saba Commercial near Cafe Clifton and tried their Zinger Burger and Loaded Fries. Unfortunately, both items were badly stinky, likely due to the very low quality of cooking oil they used (possibly Irani oil). The service was also disappointingly slow, with waiters nowhere to be found when we needed them. On the positive side, the ambiance is pleasant with roadside outdoor seating and a nice breeze from the nearby sea. However, car parking is difficult to find. Overall, not a great experience.
Pakistan Maritime Museum

We visited the Pakistan Maritime Museum with my family today. The park itself was neat and tidy, making for a pleasant stroll. However, the canteen area was somewhat dirty with too many flies, which was a bit disappointing.
The boating area had smelly water with too much fungus, which made it less enjoyable. On the bright side, the museum's auditorium was well-maintained, clean, and had a pleasantly cool temperature inside.
The highlight of our visit was the submarine tour, which cost Rs. 30 per person. It was a delightful and unique experience that we all enjoyed. Additionally, the park features some fun rides for children.
The car parking area was nearly full when we arrived, so it's wise to arrive early if you plan to visit. Overall, it was a good experience with a few areas needing improvement.

Do Darya

Do Darya Beach Karachi offers a picturesque setting with its serene waterfront ambiance, perfect for a leisurely evening stroll. The variety of restaurants lining the coast promises something for every palate. However, while the views are delightful, the food quality across the board is average at best. The service could also use improvement, as it tends to be slow during peak hours. Overall, it's a decent spot for a casual outing, but don't expect culinary excellence.
