Came across this place while exploring Edinburgh on our way back from the National Museum of Scotland. I craved something sweet when I saw the delicious looking cannoli from the shop window. The atmosphere inside looked nice with interesting wall art. However, I didn't eat in but got a takeaway. The lady at the counter was very friendly and packed a few cannoli for me to try at home. I really enjoyed them all but my favourite flavour was the pistachio one.
Museum of Childhood

Museum dedicated to the history of childhood, full with old toys, dolls, and clothes from different periods. It's free to enter, located in an old building on the Royal Mile and it has a gift shop and toilet facilities. It's on a few levels, but some of the exhibitions were closed. We walked around it for about half an hour and decided to explore another place. It was a bit of an odd place for me personally, but I think it should be interesting if you're visiting with young children.

We visit on the weekend, without a booking. The atmosphere was nice, not that busy. They have a wide variety of beers, I had my favourite - a pint of Giuness.
However, the food was a disappointment. The portions are quite small for the price, I ordered chicken as a main, but the portion was as if it was a starter. The fish and chips were okay, but the chicken was just too dry, and I didn't like the taste of the side sause. Service at the bar was good, but when the waiter took my plate, I didn't ask if I liked the food, nor was he friendly. I won't visit again.

Great water park, such a fun experience!
I would recommend buying tickets in advance and it's cheaper if you combine them with Loro Park tickets. You can also visit a second time for a cheaper price.
There is huge parking, and getting in was easy. You then have to leave your luggage at the lockers, for which you pay a fee + deposit which you get back. The changing rooms and showers/toilets are nearby, There are a few lockers and changing room facilities in the park. The gift shop has lots of stuff, and it's very helpful to get a waterproof protector case for your phone. They also sell diving shoes, which are very useful because on the slides, you obviously can't wear flip-flops.
We tried a few slides, and it was really fun. Then we had a quick lunch near Siam beach. There is a variety of salads, hot dishes, and drinks. We spend a few hours at the park but you can spend the whole day there and I would recommend getting there early.

Great place with amazing atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic food! Had a lonely dinner experience! The place is very cosy, has a great atmosphere with all the lovely decoration. It's quite big - there are tables outside, bar area, few dining rooms inside and lavatories on the lower ground floor.
We were greeted at the door and asked if we had a booking, we didn't but still managed to get a table. It was Thursday night, so it wasn't that busy. The service was very friendly and fast.
The food menu has interesting dishes, a variety of vegetarian options, and their famous kebabs. I definitely recommend the chicken one. It's served either with chips, couscous, or coconut rice. I went with chips, and they were so crispy. The kebab was also delicious. There is a variety of drinks as well, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. I really liked the alcohol-free Mind mojito. The deserts are out of this world! I had the most amazing Orea chocolate cookie dough! The prices are also reasonable.
