If you want to see a fjord view in Oslo, then this is the place for you to be. Just a short stroll from the Karl Johans gate, this fortress is a must-see if you are in Oslo. There is no cost to enter and you can venture there at any time of the day, so take as much time as you want/can and see some fantastic views of the harbour, especially at sunset times.
The fortress is quite a large place and you can wander around for quite some time, not only taking pics and vids of the harbour, but of different parts of the fortress.
I would recommend a visit to this place, very worthwhile, even if you are spending just one night in Oslo, like me.
What can I say except for wow! Simply an amazing place, perhaps the most famous and popular landmark and tourist place in Koblenz. The cable car ride up from close to the Deutsches Eck (the German Corner) to this fortress is just as good an experience as the fortress itself.
On the cable ride, enjoy the views from above. At the fortress, enjoy some spectacular views of where the two rivers meet and enjoy the fortress itself with rich pieces of history. Not sure if I can post these pictures as it may not pass Google’s policies.
The fortress is massive and you can easily spend over half a day there. It has been said that evening views, especially during and after sunset are the best views, but the best views can be any time of the day.
A clear and sunny day is the best time for going to the fortress, having a walk around and inside the various rooms, these offer displays of some nice history along with some audio guidance.
The cost to enter is not expensive, and it is a once in a lifetime experience, so if you are in or around Koblenz, this is a must-see place.
Even if you are in Germany, travelling to places like Koblenz is very simple by train. On another note, if you don’t want to take the cable car to the fortress, it is also close to a local train station in Koblenz - it is the station Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein, probably named after the fortress.
Rhine Tower

Towers are very nice observation decks, but panoramas may not be possible due to the window/bar divisions. However, if you are interested in aerial views of cities, then this tower is the place to visit in Düsseldorf. It offers some amazing views of the city so you can take pics, selfies, vids, instagrams, etc to your heart’s content. There is also a cafe/restaurant but the prices of food and drinks may be a bit steep. There are tables and chairs so you can sit down and relax after doing a round of walking around to see the different aerial angle views.
Entry prices are reasonable and affordable, and the place is easily accessible by foot, so why not walk along the banks of the Rhine to get to this spot. I would recommend a visit to this tower if you are in Düsseldorf.

Interesting lookout on the outskirts of Perth. Great place to take photos and videos of the city view from a far. For anyone looking for a bit of scenic photography, I would recommend this place for a great view of nature. Anytime of the day is good, but mostly recommended during sunset especially on a warm day.
Very interesting place to visit offering a nice history of QLD and Brisbane.
Close to transport and walking distance from train and bus, this is very worthwhile to visit.
Entrance is through the city/town hall and it is free to enter and see the fantastic artwork the museum has to offer.
Visit the large auditorium and take birds eye photos inside, it is an impressive place. The office of the mayor is also in the same building.
The third floor has the clock tower tour, it is a great experience and good opportunity while you are there, to take the free tour and explore more history of Brisbane. You need to book the tour though and a maximum of 7 people can enter the clock tower. Once up, you can enjoy views of Brisbane, CBD and iconic buildings. Feel free to take as many photos and videos especially while the clock tower tour guide is explaining the history of the clock tower and also a bit of Brisbane history.
