National Museum of Fine Arts
The building itself is an amazing work of art, and its free to enter!
The first have is where the fine art is located, but unfortunately when I was there it was mostly being worked on.
The second half is filled full of contemporary art, which i do not care for. But there was an exhibit full of back pen drawings of a more eerie nature that was quite interesting.
I can imagine it will be great while there done working on it, but at the moment it is more of a modern art museum than a fine one.

Museum of Bourgeois Art
One of the most beautiful buildings in the city! Stunning in the day and night. Went for a little tour inside which was nice, but the outside is more beautiful in my opinion.
Trilha Parque Lage to Corcovado
A satisfying, somewhat challenging hiking path up to Christ the Redeemer. The path is easy to follow. At one point there is a climbing section, but there are metal steps and is not so challenging for hikers.
Still have to pay the entry fee to the monument but you save the tram costs.

Rio Grande do Sul Museum of Art
When I went it was filled almost completely with modern art, which is not my cup of tea. Building is beautiful though.
