I had wanted to visit this place. After trying twice just showing up during their business hours listed on the website and them not being open and calling them and leaving voicemails. no one reached out for me to come visit. Oh well.

Lovely visitor center with a wealth of information about the battleground. It is difficult to put into words the environment, the terrain, and how difficult it must have been to have such a long battle, let alone the time and effort to get here.

Lovely mural in the heart of the historic area of the city.

Located on the grounds of the Bellingrath Gardens, right next to the house, this was a lovely spot to display rare pottery from the mid 1900s that was carefully crafted in a special manner. This building was the guest house.
