This island is just unbelievable. If you have a chance to plan a 3 day stop here - don’t hesitate do it - you won’t regret. Oia is the most beautiful part of the island to stay (but also most expensive). Breathtaking views of White House’s with blue domes built on a volcano cliff. Plenty of delicious food options and THE MOST beautiful sunsets in the world - Google it - I didn’t make it up :-)

Super stylish hotel with great interior design (also rooms). Staff at the front desk seemed to be often distracted from outside (and what seemed to be private? Calls)
Another minus for a Marriott loyalist is that this hotel is not owned by Marriott but is only part of portfolio. Means no chat options and no automatic checkout…
Location is very good - walkable distance to city centre

World’s 50 Best Bars: #20 (2022), #25 (2023)
Cool bar in the heart of Athens. Rather dark but stylish interior. More intimate atmosphere overall. Outside seating available (rare for a Top50 bar) and good crowd. Also interesting cocktails!

Great sightseeing. 10€ per person or 5€ in off season (Nov-Apr). Let me be honest: 30min are enough to see all “major” stuff - no need to reserve half a day for that, unless you want to study history of each sculpture inside…

Great cars, not a great museum. There is no structure to explore the museum - and no defined route to help navigate. You just walk randomly from one car to another. But the cars are unmatched fascinating!
Mercedes Benz Museum is way better in terms of structure and experience
