Le Grand Bassin du Jardin botanique
Nice green place located in a very busy area. Good option if you want to escape the city noises etc.
The place is very clean and very well maintained ! It is also very beautiful. Many sculptures fill up the place.
Seating benches available.
Note that the place is not huge but its size is fair enough wich is acceptable considering its location.
Overall very nice free place to spend a few minutes in nature even when you’re in the city.

Orangerie du Jardin Botanique

The building looks old, still it is very beautiful and has great architecture.
The place is very clean and very well maintained ! It is also very beautiful. Many sculptures fill up the place wich was in my opinion the best part about visiting the place.

Cathedral of Our Lady
Such a beautiful cathedral very close to the grote markt of antwerp near the scheldt river !
Entrance is free for minors and 12 euros for adults. This is logic if you keep in mind that this cathedral contains some masterpieces and artwork made by sir Peter Paul Rubens, the famous flemish baroque artist.
It is the highest structure in the area so it’s kind of impossible to miss.
I recommend you get a close look at the small statuettes all over the building.

Stadsfeestzaal
Located in the middle of the meir, wich is the most famous and fashionable shopping street in antwerp, the stadsfeestzaal is a great unique place to complete the set of stores.
The place is very beautiful, i would recommend you have a look inside even if you’re not interested in the shops inside.
There was some maintenance work during my visit.
Quick tip : climb the stairs on the edge of the small place to have a look at the gorgeous place !

Smurfs Passage
Random passage at the exit of the central station. Nothing special about the passage itself except the ceiling wich is covered by an amaizing smurf mural !
It is certainly one of the funniest murals with loads of belgium related easter eggs including the construction of the atomium, the belgian fries shop and the sculpture of the smurfs themselfs (actually located nearby)
Great selfie occasion the colorful and joyful smurfs village in the background !
