The Freedom Monument was built to honor the soldiers that died in Latvian Independence War (1918-1920) and it always symbolized the independence of Latvia throughout history. Such a beautiful and meaningful monument.

Elegant and beautiful cathedral right next to the palace in the center of Vilnius. Nice decorations, paintings all around and an impressive ceiling can be found in one of the corners.

Where old meets new. On one side you can see the ruins of Palace of Galerius and on the other side, there are modern building, cafes, restaurants, stores.

Perfect place to try Alsacien food. The cave atmosphere is so mesmerizing. Food is incredibly good. The staff is friendly. It is quite popular and it gets crowded, so it can get a bit noisy. I highly recommend you to make a reservation beforehand.

If you are in Thessaloniki, you should definitely stop by Aristotle Square before heading to the Waterfront. It is beautiful both in daylight and at night. You can find benches to get some rest, there are several shops, eateries around.
