Remuh Synagogue
A small synagogue in the old Jewish quarter with a cemetery nearby.
The cemetery has been reconstructed somewhat and has many prominent members of the community buried here. The synagogue is an interesting building, although small.

Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier
A museum showing the history of the city of Trier and the surrounding lands.
The museum starts with the history of the first inhabitants of these lands, passing from the Stone Age through to the Celtic tribes who were here and then to the Roman occupation and into the medieval period. As befits the oldest city in Germany, there is a great deal to see here. Do note that the descriptions of the artefacts are done in German, so if you read no German, it may be best to purchase an audio guide.

Karl Marx House
A museum dedicated to the life and influence of Karl Marx.
The museum is based in the house where Marx was born. While he did not spend much of his life here, he did spend his early life in Trier. The museum has materials in a variety of different languages and it is informative, but it does definitely help if you already have some familiarity with Marx and his writings.
