Gausia Market is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the vibrant tapestry of Bangladeshi culture and commerce. While navigating the bustling crowds and bargaining with vendors may require a bit of patience and skill, the rewards of discovering unique treasures and experiencing the local flavor are well worth the effort. Whether you're in search of traditional attire, trendy fashion, or simply an authentic shopping adventure, Gausia Market delivers an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Dhaka's dynamic spirit.
Boga Lake
2024 Jan 18
Boga Lake is about 4 hours jeep ride from Bandarban Sadar. In the way to Boga Lake, one can sail to Boga Lake only with permission from Border Guard at Rumah and accompanied by a guide. This Boga lake is naturally formed at a height of about 2000 feet above sea level. The clear water of the lake and the surrounding mountains are realy picturesque.
Safari Chodon Park

The Safari Park is located 3 km west of Bagher Bazar on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, 40 km north of Dhaka. The area of the Safari Park is 3810.0 acres. You can get there by car, bus or bike. A parking lot is available for all vehicles. The entry fee of the park is 50 BDT, but there is a different entry fee of 20-50 BDT for different spots inside the park, which I find very annoying. The main attraction of the park is the 'Core Safari Park' whose entry fee is 150 BDT. Here you will be taken around the core safari park for 15 to 20 minutes by bus where different types of animals including tiger, lion, giraffe, deer, zebra, bear are open. At all, I really liked it. You can spend the whole day here with your family.
