Major General Winfield Scott Hancock Statue
Like many equine statues around Washington, DC this one represents a historic wartime hero.
General Hancock was a Civil War hero who was famous for his leadership at the battle of Gettysburg.
The memorial is close to the Navy Memorial (and it's metro stop), the National Archives and many other great destinations.
If you're in to photography be sure to stop by close to sunset when the statue is (sometimes) bathed in amazing golden light.
