Maybe we got a little unlucky, but we had a pretty bad experience here.
We waited for over an hour for our food, before we were told that one of the dishes was not available and that we should choose something different while the rest of the tables around us got their food.
Admittedly, the restaurant was fairly crowded, but still. (It was also super loud because there were two separate children competing, who could scream louder)
The food was ok and the waiter was very apologetic but the experience wasn't great as a whole.

VietAroma Restaurant
One of my favorite Vietnamese places in Karlsruhe - they opened during the pandemic and I was really hoping they'd make it.
The decor is really unique and the food is great. I'd particularly recommend the homemade lemonade to go with the Pho.
They also have a very affordable lunch menu and a couple of great vegan options

Very cool - nice workout area, the Parcours and climbing modules are fun. Places to play for children are also there

Let me begin here by saying that the sushi itself was really really good. Easily a 5/5. Definitely worth a recommendation...
However, the service was a huge disappointment.
We arrived with three people on time for our reservation, but they didn't have a table for 3 anymore. After 10-15 minutes they managed to find one in a corner and we gave the waitress our order. It took over an hour and asking if the order had been lost twice before we received our drinks. By the 1.5 hour mark and after the table next to us who arrived later than we did finished their meals, paid and left we finally received our food. During the entire time you could See take-out boxes being packaged and handed out and I don't want to know how many people finished an entire dinner before we even got our order.
The waitress seemed to really feel bad about the whole situation and from what I heard from people who come here more often this usually does not happen regularly, but this performance is really not okay.
