Botanic Gardens Cafe
A nice outdoor setting in the botanical gardens. Perfect pit stop for a drink or a quick nibble or sandwich.
We had the poke bowl with chicken, cheese & tomato toastie and juice and price was more than $50. Price is exorbitant however area is nice. Limited selection on the menu. Would’ve been great if they had proper meals as the setting is perfect for it.
It was quite packed when we visited at about 11:30am or so. Wasn’t too organised, it could’ve been managed better.

Suzuki Cafe and Roastery
If you’re in the area, this is a beautiful zen and relaxed cafe to have a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.
Selection of cakes weren’t fantastic.
Had the apple crumble and it was definitely a treat. It wasn’t too sweet and the apple on the top was at the right sweetness.
The matcha swirl however was not great. Wasn’t fluffy nor flavourful.. pretty ‘flat’.
Having lived in a country that has a strong coffee culture, the coffee here is spot on! Had the latte and the flat white.
Conclusion: Not a place for dessert but good coffee.
