I love coming to the honey centre and watching the busy bees and sampling all the awesome honey.

Strangely the avo blend is one of my favourites, then the mochachino, and then the cherry brandy.

I taste tested some of the mead, and that was also delicious.

I also tried some of their lotions, which left my hands super soft.

The lady at the counter was very friendly.

The coffee shop was closed for some reason, which was disappointing.

There are lots of things to sample and buy in the shop.
Clevedon Animal Farm is such an awesome place! It is quite big 🚜

Lynn is a lovely host and has been running the farm for 21 years. She planted every tree and shrub 🌳

They offer tours of the farm on a big golf cart, where you can see donkeys, miniature ponies, chooks, sheep, ducks with curly perms, geese, goats, and (my favourite) alpacas 🐐🐑 Everyone gets an opportunity to feed and interact with the animals 🦙🐓🐴

The kids can have a ride on the ponies, and we all enjoyed some home made cookies and lemonade at the end of it 🍪

It's a lovely day out, especially for families with children 👪
I went to the shop about 3 months ago. The lady dropped the droë wors on the floor twice. I asked for normal wors and unfortunately had pieces of chilli wors mixed together. I had to throw it away, because it's too spicy for me. At the time I asked for fatty biltong, but they didn't have any.
Today I thought I'd give it another try. The price of the biltong is good, but it's very dry. I asked for fatty biltong, and even though it does have fat, it's very dry.
We had a great day at the Dove Myer Robinson Park, where the Parnell Rose Garden is. Unfortunately it didn't offer much in terms of roses (yet). This backs onto the Nancy Steen Garden, which offers an array of plants and flowers, walkways, benches, and expansive lawns for picnics. This backs onto Taurarua Judges Bay. It's a lovely bay with lots of seating and picnic options. It has steps leading into the water from the beach side and the pier. It was a great sunny (albeit windy) day out

I went on a Monday afternoon, so it was very quiet. It looks like a lovely place, where people can hang out and catch up. There's TVs everywhere, pool tables, and a designated smoking area. There are two big outdoor areas, which is lovely in summer.
I did think that $10 was quite steep for a beer, even if it was imported. I also thought the food menu was a bit dear, so I didn't order food.
I asked the one lady if I could take some photos, and she said yes. But then the (I think owner) got upset and asked why I was taking photos.
It's still think it is a nice place, which somewhat reminds me of home (South Africa). The decor was a bit typical and generic "Africa".
