Running along the shore of Lake Ontario there is a nice boardwalk pathway the leads you east towards the downtown area. You will find a small wild flower garden and at the right time of year it is full of butterflies. The beach is a little rocky but never very crowded.

This is a good place to exit the streetcar and have a look around
